My daughter love this movie. Watch this and then part two. She intends to watch three soon.

This movie is awesome!! Saw it when it first came and wanted my 12 year old to enjoy it as well. He loved it! If you haven’t ever seen it I would recommend at least renting it one time, but beware, it is very suspenseful, will have you on the edge of your seat the whole time, and the situations stick in your head forever! Enjoy!!

FINAL DESTINATION is a well done thriller and a superb beginning to a never ending series. This film is known for the infamous plane disaster and established a killer that it is very hard to stop - death itself. And the death scenes here are very inventive. You will be jumping out of your skin. This film has suspense and thrills to the perfect combination with some pretty good acting.So why the 3 stars? This is a review of the blu ray and this is honestly a terrible blu ray transfer. It adds nothing to the quality of the dvd and the viewing experience looses much of its impact due to its poor quality. The 1080p video is very dark, colors have no vibrancy and there is no detail or clarity that one would expect from a blu ray. There is graininess which is expected for a film of this age but this added with the lackluster presentation makes for a subpar viewing experince. The audio also lacks. It is a little better than the video but nothing to praise. Right from the first shot you know the video is off and the plane explosion looses all impact due to the poor video transfer and audio. I was so let down.Sadly, if you purchase this as I did hoping to watch all your favorite scenes in the vividness of blu ray you will be very disappointed. I have never seen a blu ray transfer where the video was so dark and lacking in clarity compared to the original. FINAL DESTINATION 2 and 3 look great on blu ray so I would stick with the dvd on this one and advance to blu ray for the future ones in the series.

As a fan of horror films, its difficult to find one without it being done before. The premise of this movie and the series is that Death has a plan and even if you intervene it still will get you... As with all the films in the series, it starts of with one of the party having a premonition of impeding disaster. In this movie they are on a flight, and see the plane exploding in the premonition, then some people get off the plane, and then it happens.. So they have avoided it.. or so they thinkBut Death has a plan, so one by one in the order they would have died on the plane a number of freak and inventive gory accidents happen to kill them..and the theme is you cannot escape Death. These get more and more bizarre as the series happens...I just think its a brilliant and original inventive film series, lovely and gory at times

Always did like this movie so out at the movie theaters and of course I have the DVD here now it came quickly and I love it the movie and the colors wonderful
