Perfect for historical dress up day
This is perfect for the elementary school spirit week…. historical figures. I wear a size 8, am 5’8”, 132 lbs and ordered a large. It firs over my head without unzipping, is wonderfully long enough, and doesn’t look too bad, due to the elastic waist & tied apron. A medium probably would have been a better fit, but the large will definitely do. The dress, hat and apron seem well made and I’m guessing will wash well.

Vintage is still fashionable
This material is easy to launder and a little iron and it is perfect for any vintage event. Our church celebrated 200 years this year and our female attire took our congregation back to the time.A wonderful time was had by all. The elastic held, the fit and weight were perfect and the quality shone through. Thank you.

Very nice dresses. Timeless fashion.
These are lovely dresses. I purchased several of them for daily wear, since I believe that dresses look so much nicer on women than jeans or yoga pants when out in public. The fabric is durable and easy to care for, although some people may prefer cotton over polyester. These are still pretty new in my wardrobe, so I haven’t laundered them yet, but I plan on a gentle cycle, cold water wash and line dry. I think they will last a very long time, and since they are prairie dresses, I won’t need to worry about them going out of style — they are timeless! As far as the fit, be sure to consult the size chart as these run smaller than the usual American sizes. I’m 5’6” and 140, and the largest size fit comfortably without stretching the elastic waistband. The bonnets are cute, and with a couple of pins, I was able to turn them into snoods, which I wear to cover up my hair that is growing out.I’m very pleased with these dresses and am glad I made these purchases.

The one with the apron is made of mostly cotton and fits a little more snugly...
This version had an apron and is mostly cotton. It does have a back zipper and it is machine stitched so it is not truly authentically made like back in the day... BUT it looks very good and is fairly inexpensive. If you want a hand-stitched authentic version, then buy the cloth, stitch it by hand... but you will spend a lot of time and money doing that. This is a very good alternative for the turn of the century look it evokes.Be VERY CAREFUL which version you order... one is mostly cotton and comes with an apron, the other is mostly polyester and does not include an apron... ;(Some other people bought the aproned one and the dress was mostly polyester.... just beware that the one you get may be mostly cotton or mostly poly... and if you are not real careful when ordering, you may or may not get the apron.

Runs small
I wore this to give an historical presentation. The fabric is a cotton polyester blend and didn't wrinkle easily, so it stayed looking decent all day. There is elastic in the waist but the apron covers it up. There is no give at all in the shoulders. Order the next larger size if you want to be comfortable.

Pioneer 1800's Dress and Apron with matching bonnet
I volunteer at a historical museum and this was perfect. We have school groups tour and we give them hands on demonstrations. We teach laundry, school, butter churning, paper making and textiles. Sewing and fabric making with looms. So this dress apron and bonnet worked out perfectly. I looked at various brands and settled on this one as it fit everything I needed. Good quality, good fit, and authentic looking.

Sehr dünner Stoff
Für Karneval reicht es. Wenn man aber für ein Epochen Fest oder ähnliches sucht, ist das nicht das Richtige. Der Stoff ist sehr sehr dünn, die Schürze sogar durchsichtig.
