At first, I was thinking about the price and doubted to purchase them. But an avid mountain biker recommend it. Man, this stufff is the King Kong of pedals. Great, solid, aluminum pedals. anodized colors look great. the grip on these bad boys - out of this world. No more slipping of foot off of the pedal. Great to transfer power in your pedaling. I bought a second pair for my son's mountain bike (Trek series 6). Worth every penny.

These are very light and durable pedals. Very sticky and well made.True story - while driving to my inaugural ride with these guys installed on my bike my roof rack broke and my Nomad came off the top of my car at 80MPH. The bike landed on the right side and slid down the freeway with my seat, the right pedal and handlebar as contact points. I've got a nice new aftermarket flat spot on the pedal from where the freeway ground it down but otherwise the pedal is tip-top. I'm thoroughly impressed with how solid these guys are given how thin and light they are. Aside from the cosmetic issue you'd never know what happened.

Great peddles but one mis-pedal and you have spikes in your shin or calf. These things are sharp and you may want to ride with leg guards on which I don't always do. Otherwise, excellent build, obviously great traction on your shoes and quite lightweight despite being solid.

They have a ton of grip and feel very durable. MAJOR upgrade from the free plastic pedals the shop had pre-installed. Looking forward to using them this weekend!

This is my first pair of real platform pedals. I usually ride aggressive XC and the stock set that came with my bike were too small and too jagged, plus they had those awful reflectors. So I switched to some Crank Brothers Egg Beater 1s for about two years, and was generally happy with them, but I never liked the feeling of being attached to my bike and having to unclip just to lift my foot up and off for a sharper turn, or a fall. So I did some research and read that these are among the best you can get. So far I haven't had any issues with them (knock on wood.) Easy installation (grease your threads!!), easy instructions. The allen key for all of the pins is included, but you will need a smaller one for the grub screws. I also bought a pair of 510s, which grip like crazy. I took these out to a pretty technical trail and these pedals cruised over rocks and roots really well. You won't be disappointed!

These petals are awesome and well worth the money!!! The grip is awesome no slipping with these pedals!! Highly recommend

These are just plain excellent pedals. They grip like CRAZY, especially when paired with a set of 510s. They're light, they're thin and they take abuse very well. I ride in rocky New England terrain and have been kicking the crap out of these things for a season now and they're still perfect.TONS of grip. Great pedals, and cheaper than Canfields. Solid stuff.

These is the best flats you could get. Light, durable, well built, looks good, at an affordable and competitive price.

diese Flat Pedale in Verbindung mit Schuhen von Five Ten sind echt Top, Mega guter Grip und Optisch auch super auch die Aufstandsfläche ist Optimal...das anbringen der Pedale ist sehr einfach kann man nix falsch machen...die Pedale werden mit Pins und Inbusschlüssel für die Pins geliefert,die Pins muss man allerdings noch selbst ein schrauben aber das ist schnell erledigt...kann ich nur empfehlen wer an seinem MTB griffige und stand sichere Pedale sucht!

Ich habe die Pedale leider nach nur einem Jahr gegen Chromag Scarab getauscht. Die Lager der Spank Spike waren bereits nach 6 Monaten zum ersten Mal hinüber. Ich muss dazu sagen, dass mein Rad für alles herhalten muss und fast täglich benutzt wird. Trotzdem finde ich die geringe Standzeit der Lager inakzeptabel und ich bereue. Die Pedale haben auf der Kurbelseite ein Kugellager und auf der Außenseite ein IGUS Gleitlager. Dieses Gleitlager ist leider die Schwachstelle und verschleißt sehr schnell. Hier wäre ein weiteres Kugellager oder DU- Gleitlager um einiges besser. Die Vorteile der Pedale sind die große Standfläche und der gute Grip. Ich habe Schuhgröße 47 und hatte genug Platz auf dem Pedal. Der Pedalkörper ist sehr stabil und verträgt auch mal Bodenkontakt. Wobei die Form und die flache Bauart dafür sorgen, dass es eher selten zu Bodenkontakt kommt. Trotz der Vorteile hat mich der erhöhte Lagerverschleiß zum Tausch der Pedale bewegt. Alle die sorglose Pedale suchen, empfehle ich Pedale mit Kugellager auf der Innen- und Außenseite. Meine vorherigen waren Reverse Escape und die hielten ewig. Meine aktuellen Chromag Scarab haben auch 2 Kugellager und halten hoffentlich länger wie die Spank Spike.

Prima Qulität. Die Spikes geben sehr guten Halt und durch die große Trittfläche ist die Kraftübertragung auch prima. Bin schon etliche MTB-Touren damit gefahren und noch nie vom Pedal gerutscht. Klare Kaufempfehlung

diese Pedale halten bei mir jetzt schon über eine Saison, was bei meinem Gewicht offensichtlich gut ist für Pedale, denn einige andere namhafter Hersteller konnten nicht überzeugen, weil sie oft nicht mal eine Saison durchhielten.

Son spank, no hay mucho más que decir, calidad excelente y envío rápido.
