Really enjoy the Bible for Bible study, easy to read, nice print, and the graphics inside are so joyful and fun to come across. Love the little additional add ons inside along with the side note option and it’s a great study Bible.

I like this bible. I think it would be better suited for a younger reader that gets bored easily . Lots of coloring pages. I'd rather have extra study pages.

This is a great Bible to read.

I received a copy of the NIV Radiant Virtues Bible in the mail. It is perfect timing for my next read through the Bible in 2022 as it gives me a fresh start on clean unmarked pages. The amazing features of this journaling Bible focus on the Scripture passages themselves with colorful images of special verses, many verse pictures to color myself, and 52 special devotions which also focus on understanding and applying the Scriptures to my daily life. I colored in one of the Scripture verses and gained a greater appreciation for the process as the time spent coloring it also kept me focused on each word of the verse.The NIV Radiant Virtues Bible has colorful bookmarks and cards with artistic verses printed on perforated heavy paper. These are perfect for removing and sharing or for placing around my home as reminders or tools for Bible memorization. In the front of the Bible are twelve undated calendar pages I can use to chronicle my Bible reading experience and personal applications. A one-year Bible reading plan is also included in the back. This is not a “study Bible” with concordance and maps, but it includes a full column of lines for journaling and personalizing my Bible on each page with the exception of those pages with illustrations in the extra column.I used colored pencils to color in my first Bible verse. I especially liked this Scripture and devotion from Philipians 4:1-9 that is so timely for today’s chaotic world. Before coloring any pictures in my new Bible I made tests with pencils, Bible marking pens, and highlighters. I have attached images showing what I learned.The last image shows the back side of my test page. I decided to use pencils for coloring and Bible marking pens for journaling and underlining. The Bible marking pens I use are Pigma MicronTM pens. The Radiant Virtues Bible is a journaling Bible but it is also a yearly devotional style Bible--all rolled in to one Bible. I really like the idea of using this Bible next year for my devotional time.The Radiant Virtues Bible has all sorts of features related to the theme. I like that it has highlighted verses throughout the Bible for faith, hope and love that are color-coded for each theme which makes them easy to find. In the front of the book, there are 12 blank calendar page to use however you wish for planning out your year of activities. There are themes for each week to use for devotionals, prayer and encouraging others.Like other Bibles in the Beautiful Word collection, this Bible has a lot of illustrated verses and illustrations throughout the book. In the back of the Bible, there are some shareable artistic bookmarks and verse cards that are perforated for ease in sharing. Then throughout the book, there is space to journal through your reading.The text in this Bible is 8 point type. I do wish it were a little bigger but it is a dark print, which they call the Comfort Print, which I found helpful. The pages are a bit thin for marker use but colored pencils and pencils should be fine. The words of Jesus are in red, which I like. There is a satin ribbon marker to help mark where you left off.All in all, I think this is a lovely Bible. I am looking forward to using it as I think it will help me to look at things a bit different with the coded verses and themes for a week of reading. I also like that this Bible is aimed at encouraging the reader to share, encourage and uplift other people.I received a copy of this Bible as a member of the Bible Gateway Blogger Grid.
