So glad I found these!
I will start off by saying I am an overweight, out of shape person with extremely flat feet. I just got a job working 6 days a week on concrete floors doing heavy labor. I bought expensive shoes that are"made for this sort of work" after several weeks of trying that- Nothing changed. My feet and back were paying a painful price. Sharp shooting pains up the sides of my ankles and legs, bad arch pain, throbbing heel pain, and a horrible numbness that was frankly scaring me. I bought some "memory foam" inserts for a lower price and they ended up being low grade craft foam. I think they made it worse. Finally, I tried these. They're the only thing that helped! They're kind of firm, but soft enough to provide a cushioning. The arch support really helps to align my legs and back so the back pain is getting better. I'm not limping ( or whining) as much! I'd definitely recommend giving these a shot, even if you're weary of the price. It's been so worth it to me. So glad I tried these.

Cushioned Arch Support
I have used the same brand of orthopedic insoles for pain relief for many years. Recently I started experiencing foot pain again and first tried replacing my insoles with the same brand, but didn't get any relief. I was about to resort to buying new shoes, but decided to try switching to Footminders arch support insoles and I'm very happy with the relief. They have a pronounced arch support with plenty of cushioning. I am back to doing my morning power walk without experiencing any pain.

Not very soft
I have severe plantar fasciitis along with a heel spur. These inserts are well made but they are not soft enough for my liking. I've switched to Dr. Sholls and they are much better for me. These are sitting in my drawer not being used at this point. If you want support only they may be ok for you.

Fixed my plantar fasciitis in less than 2 months
I had severe foot pain for months that seemed to be plantar fasciitis. I would limp when I would try to walk after I had been sitting or when first getting up. Walking long distances was painful. I'm in my 40s with young kids so I needed a solution. I tried different shoes and saw a chiropractor. It wasn't getting much better. I finally decided to buy these. They were so uncomfortable the first time I tried them, but I knew that was normal. It felt like I was walking with tennis balls in my shoes. Within a few days I didn't even feel them. After a while I noticed my feet felt great when I had the shoes with the orthotic in them, and they hurt when I was barefoot. It has been about 5 weeks since I started using these, and I no longer have any foot pain. I can now wear other shoes and my snow boots with no orthotics without having pain.

Good support/ fits well
I have a large mass on my navicular bone that caused my arch in my right foot to fall, putting excruciating pain on the tendon on the inside part of my ankle. This mass also squeezes the nerves in that particular tendon/nerve path so the great toe and second /third toe are often numb. The podiatrist had prescribed me an ankle stabilizer that does not work, as it compresses that tendon/nerve path even more.I did a lot of research & decided an insert arch support might do the trick These work in the shoes I wear most often -- Dr Scholl sneaker (I have several of them due to the wide toe box) They take up very little room if you have shoes that are not tight. I have yet to try them in any other shoe. These are easily cut to fit inside your shoe, just order the correct size. I did have to custom cut these to fit precisely in the shoe... the cutting guideline is JUST a guideline. You will need to carefully & slowly trim these. The only drawback is that the arch support takes a while to get used to. I wore them for a couple hours each day and found my foot pain was not much different. But after a while, the pain did ease up a bit. These are supposed to last for around 12 months according to the package.

Great inserts
I got these as a recommendation from a friend. My old shoes feel like new! The arch support is awesome and they arexa fraction of the cost of other inserts.

I needed arch suport - these are some kind of pronation correctors -- just not for me.
These actually make my feet and knees hurt.I need arch support but it seems that most arch support is some kind of pronation corrector which just shoves my feet off the outside of the footbed. I actually underpronate but need arch support.I have tried the shoes that have the orthopedic heel bed and they do the same thing (Orthaheels).I think that if you overpronate (feet/ankles lean inward) these would be very helpful. For me, they're just painful.Keen makes a wonderful footbed but I can't find inserts. Chaco's also work really well for me but again, no inserts. These insoles seem very sturdy and seem to have decent, although firm, cushioning. I can't use them though so I can't speak to their longevity. I've been trying them now for about 2 weeks - thought maybe there was a break in period. Nope. Not for me.

Relief you can feel
I went on my first hike with these insoles today. It was only 3 miles, but that would normally be enough to have my ankles barking at me. Instead I felt like I could go 10 more no problem. These are definitely worth the money. They may take a little getting used to, but you can really tell that they are supporting your arch. One thing: I wear 10 to 10.5 shoes, but the medium insoles felt more natural to me. With the large, I felt that the arch support was too far forward. Plus the mediums fit snugly into my shoes. I would have simply cut the large size down, but as I said the mediums felt more natural. Kept the mediums and in the process of returning the larges.
