House of Cambridge Mens Full Sheepskin Slippers with Thick Suede Sole

I knew before buying these that they have no arch which is just fine for around the house. They are surprising warm for not having any outsole other than the leather bottoms. Only issue after having worn them for about a month is that the wool does gather a bit under the ball of the foot. So I reach in and ruff up the wool with my fingers and are good for a while until it gets "bunched" up again. I have experienced this on almost all sheapskin slippers I've had so no real surprise. They haven't gone "dead" yet meaning all flattened out without any insulative ability. Had a pair of Minnies do that so don't trust that brand any longer. Time will tell if these continue to hold up.

I got these for my husband since his LL Bean slippers from a year ago were worn clear through the sheepskin on the inside bottom (I had expected those to last a lot longer than they did at twice the price of these). These were pretty inexpensive so we weren't expecting top quality and they are not. But these slippers are certainly passable and they do have real (albeit shallow) sheepskin as the insoles. When he first put them on, my husband felt they were a tad short in length. I suggested he leave them on before deciding whether to keep them and within an hour, he said they felt fine. There is no arch support, but few slippers have that anyway. The outer bottom is suede that feels as if it has stiff cardboard imbedded in it. My husband says that it feels fine to walk in the slippers with that type of sole, but I'm not sure how long they'll remain hole free. In the 2 months he's had them, they've held up well. Not a bad deal for the price just to get through the rest of the colder weather.

I'm on my second order of these (~2 years in between) and they are a great slipper!! High quality, great durability (for majority indoor use) and very warm & comfortable!!

I generally get a new pair of double-sole sheepskin slippers every year. I end up wearing holes in slippers at the outside widest point of my foot. So far these slippers have prevented this from occurring due to the flat sole design. The soles of other slippers that I have used curve up and are stitched at the top, allowing my foot to push out the sides over time. These soles are stitched at the bottom, so my feet won't be able to wear a hole in the sides as they have before. This is a well-made product.

What can I say, they're slippers for heavens sake! Ha My only regret is the aggressive soles which make noise as I walk across carpeting. My previous slippers were 15 year old moccasins and fit like a glove and were quiet. Ha Someday I will appreciate the soles gripping the floor and preventing me from falling. I would recommend them for anyone.
