Good product but some of the tricks would be difficult for a 6 year old to understand and execute.

I note that this is aimed at kids aged 6+ but I have to admit I got it for my son who is in his forties! However, he has a five year old daughter and it was really for her benefit that he took it. This is a fun set and I’m sure the five year old will be showing her dad what to do before long. It’s well presented, easy to follow and at a great price. The contents are just right for kids (and Dads in their forties) and I recommend it to everyone.

I ordered this for my 7 year old Nephew who has started to get into the idea of magic and ‘tricks’ and he’s been really enjoying this so far.Definitely designed for young children (under 10 I’d say) and ones just starting off in magic. If they’ve done magic sets before then this might be a bit basic, but as a starter kit this is great.Comes with a clear instruction manual that shows you how to complete the 35 tricks. Quite simple and easy to follow, which is in line with the younger age target audience.Due to the small pieces I’d say suitable for 5/6+. But a great way for young children to feel they are ‘tricking’ their audience with a range of fun tricks.Definitely a good way to see if your child is interested in doing magic tricks with it being under £10- so not a waste of money if they decide it’s not for them.Priced well for what you receive. Overall we’ve been happy with this and would be ok to recommend as a starter kit.

Who doesn’t love a bit of magic. This is a nicely compact box of magic bits and pieces. They can often come with huge boxes and little content taking up much room. This is much better and offers just as much fun.For the price of £8.99 it’s a great stocking filler gift idea and suits both sexes. Aged at 6+ i would say this is correctly marketed albeit kids have to start somewhere so with guidance and supervision may use younger than this. The booklet is easy to follow allowing some nifty tricks and magic.
