I've been looking for a good quality & cute fabric shower curtain for months. This one is everything that I've wanted and it is exactly like the picture. I don't have a special affection for owls but this curtain is truly cute and not necessarily girly or childish cute. Even my boyfriend who's not into animal prints or "cute" home decorations said it's kind of cute. Very highly recommended for a small bathroom that needs color but not too much of it. My only complaint is that the curtain doesn't come with hooks and its original owl hooks are expensive. Luckily I had old hooks but I think the package should have included inexpensive hooks. The shipping with prime was fast and convenient.

Tired of my boring, subdued, autumnal-hued bathroom, this 30-something decided she needed some whimsy. Give a Hoot to the rescue. Except for the toothbrush holder and curtain rings, I own every accessory in this line and will review them separately.Although the online image makes you think the background is probably solid white, the curtain is actually a natural/neutral beige color; I'd call it 'pebble'. Also indiscernible from the single provided image is the brick wall pattern that runs throughout--it forms a grid-like background. So while this worked really well w/my tile and paint colors, if you're expecting a bright white curtain with just various colored owls printed here and there, this has a pattern and isn't white!The fabric is quite thick but not at all stiff and it arrived without the weird odor that often lingers in inexpensive shower curtains. I was anticipating a slightly softer cotton but am ultimately grateful for the durability. I'm in a no-kids household but I'm kinda rough on my bathroom with hair coloring, dog baths, etc. I think this will hold up well in a child's washroom...since that's the intended consumer I'm sure!The standard 70x72 size hangs well and is cut/sewn evenly. The deep creases from being folded into the packaging are working themselves out well but I'm happy this can tolerate an iron, if needed.The owls come in light Caribbean blue, mustard yellow, oyster white, bright pumpkin, slate gray, and candy apple green. It's a breeze to find matching towels with all those options! I bought the coordinating towel set but it's a tad pricey and just for show. (And the towel set isn't too kid-friendly since it's so light).I skipped the coordinating hooks because they appeared a tad juvenile for my space, but the button hole closures will accommodate a myriad of choices; my oil-rubbed bronze rollerball style rings work beautifully.My bathroom is far less dull now and for the price, I'm beyond tickled. "Cute" is the word most reviewers offer for this curtain. It indeed is! But cute only gets one so far. The quality is what makes me give a hoot.

The picture shows a white background. In actuality it is a tan background with a stripe pattern. There is another seller on Amazon that has a more accurate picture of it. I would never have ordered it if it was pictured that way. The tan is way darker than an off white. It completely changes the look of it.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this shower curtain! It's a very nice and thick material. The colors really pop and the owls are too cute. I have a small bathroom with very little lighting so I wanted to get rid of my older dark purple curtain and towels for something brighter and a bit more fun but not too kiddy that my husband would completely disapprove, so glad that I found this curtain! I didn't want to get the matching towels for the set because they are just plain white with one small owl on them and they were expensive so I looked around an found towels from K Mart "essential home" I think was the brand and bought a few of the "aquamarine" and "sunny lime" color and the matching "aquamarine" rug to go with it. Not a perfect match and the towels are kinda thin but for now it looks nice. Hoping to buy the matching tooth brush holder and trash can soon. I would like the matching owl rug but on here its real expensive I saw it on the Wal-Mart website for around $20 so I might pick that up as well at some point.

I gave a 2 b/c at least it's cotton and not vinyl, but I do agree w/ the reviews that after 10 washings or so it looks 'beat up'... Cute, but agree it may last you a year. It does have a 'plasticky' smell, I honestly think from the plastic it's shipped in, it did come out after 4 washings and being aired in the sun...

I bought this cute shower curtain for staging my house to sell. One bathroom is the children's bath and I wanted something that would appeal to a wide age range of kids without being too cutesy for the parents. Voila! Happy little owls! The curtain is a nice heavy fabric, easy to wash and dry. You'll need a plain shower curtain behind it because the owls are just "for pretty" but that allows the nice curtain to stay in great shape while you launder your lining as often as necessary! When the house sells I already have a couple of people arguing over who gets to keep the owl shower curtain and they're adults! You can't go wrong with this one :)

I love this curtain! I bought one from ModCloth 3 years ago (much more expensive) and bought another from Amazon this month. I needed another because my new home has an old tub that needs an L-shaped curtain and one curtain is not long enough. These two hang side by side and you can't tell the difference in color unless you are really trying to. The fabric is thick and of good quality. I get so many compliments on it! It is fun enough to jazz up a boring bathroom, but not too juvenile (I am over 35.)Highly recommend!

There is no option for 0 stars. The print is upside down on the shower curtain. I purchased the shower curtain a while back for my new bathroom. The bathroom is finally completed and I opened the shower curtain to find it was manufactured upside down. I tried returning but Amazon is saying its over 39 days and ineligible for return. Now I'm stuck with a shower curtain I can't use and the matching shower hooks and bath mat I purchased as well.
