not accuratenot consistent, temp reading keep changing with huge range although you do not move your hand..

The unit appears to function as advertised. I can't speak to its accuracy but it does what I need it to do. I got the unit to measure some hot spots in the house.

I love this! It is the perfect kitchen companion and is especially helpful to assure us that our flat top grill has reached the proper cooking temperature.

We bought this for our cat, she loves chasing the laser and this uses AAA batteries. Now we can save money (and the planet) buy using rechargeable batteries instead of buying a new pointer from the dollar store when the old ones died. Anyway, we have used this to check the temperature of random things around our living room and it seems to be accurate. Maybe someday I'll find a proper grown up reason to use this. Would recommend to anyone that already knows what to use things like this for.

Bought this device to see where I need to find heat escape and do upgrades to save money. Wish I had this before I bought the house. Haha. It’s a good deviceand does the job

Useful to measure temps around the house. Has two mode: scan and laser point. A must have fr a DIY'er.

The temperatures were inconsistant

As a thermometer it is poorly calibrated and doesn't show an accurate temperature for anything. Like, not even close.But as a laser toy, it is way easier to use than the "stick with hearing aid batteries" type. Also, it uses AAAs, so I can drop rechargeable in it. My cats love it. I don't regret this purchase.

Easy to use just point and shoot and BAM you got your reading. I bought thought to monitor the temps in all my reptile tanks. Seems to work well in my aquariums to. I highly recommend. Good bang for the buck.
