First, DO NOT get this.For just an idea on how long it lasted I got it Nov 4th early evening, it broke (like it's where I'm no longer doing DIY repairs when I've put 3-4 hours in on fixing it from getting it) around 10am November 8th and used twice. I store it in a jewelry pouch and in my jewelry box.When I opened it, the chain had two knots in it already. I've ordered a lot of necklaces and other fine chains online and this is the first time to get a knotted one. I had to get my craft mat out, sewing pins, oil, and work both knots out with the pins. Because of the weight needs to be opposite to keep from pulling shut again, I had to move the stone around gently sometimes. Doing that (placing it on my self healing craft mat caused the to fracture. Rose quartz should not be close to that fragile (I have a wand necklace and I don't know how many times I've whacked it against something and worried to see it's just fine, my raw untumbled rose quartz doesn't chip, and the polished stone I got at a mine as a kid about 30 years ago and was handled like, well, a kid would. Not very gentle. No chips no fractures. This is rose quartz but it's basically scrap quality cut. Rose quartz is not an expensive stone for a quality cut and poor quality cuts are a sign of poor quality elsewhere.There's another line that's a weak point that will fracture. Rose quartz should never have bubbles in it, this had bubbles throughout. I did what I could with the tip when it broke and used a nail file to try and smooth it and even the tip. I had to use a bit of clear polish after. So not even a couple hours in and it's chipped and 2 knots. I figured I'll just roll with it still. I should have returned it the second I opened it.I decided to write the review after I was putting it in its jewelry bag and just adjusting the way the chain was and the post came out of the rock. I'm glad I wasn't using itOh the chain was also getting copper colored already and had a couple places that are fully discolored.I generally don't leave highly negative reviews but this is a nope.I tried to get pictures to show what I'm talking about but it didn't work out well, hopefully it gives an idea.(the second photo is where I tried to show the bubbles at the top (widest), hopefully they're visible.
