Great for public speakers
I'm not a performer, but on occasion, I speak publicly. My voice started cracking a few years ago, I think it is due to aging and never thinking about my vocal cords. I did some research and started doing voice exercises (humming through a straw, etc.) and massaging my vocal cords. I added this after trying to buy a famous voice lozenge with slippery elm but it was very expensive when I found a seller. So I thought I'd give slippery elm a try., I did not care what brand. I'm glad I found this option. This has worked for me very well, it also tastes great and worked when I had to give a large public address. I keep it in my purse now.

Dry and don't help your throat
They are dry and don't do anything for your sore throat. I will stick with Throat Coat tea with slippery elm.

No xylitol, plus slippery elm
I have dry mouth often and searched forever to find a xylitol-free lozenge that would moisten my mouth. I thought I'd never find one! Most seem to contain xylitol. But then, lo! Here it is, and with slippery elm to boot, which is good for one digestive tract. The flavor is nice, and it activates the salivary glands.

Sooths my gurd
I make a tea with the slippery elm and lemon balm and it works so great. All you need is a small pinch of the slippery elm, don't use to much and 2 mugs a day.

I do not recommend!
Amazon blocked by last objective review of this product so I'm trying again in an effort to prevent others from wasting their time and money on this product. Taste is terrible and the tablets are grainy, and therefore got caught in my throat. They actually made my chronic throat irritation worse (I have Crohn's disease which affects my throat at times). Buyer beware.

Small and helpful for singing
I take daily antihistamines so my throat is usually dry, which is murder for singers. These small tablets fit nicely in the cheek and provide a soothing source of moisture for your throat! I love these things and keep some in my gig bag, my work bag, and my nightstand! Recommended.
