I absolutely loved William Link's short story "Murder Medium Rare" and Bill Pronzini's story "La Bellezza Delle Bellezze" is a classic in Mr. Pronzini's Nameless Detective series. In "My Enemies Have Sweet Voices" Shamus Winner Paul D. Marks demonstrates once again why he ranks among one of the best modern crime fiction storytellers. For those of you who love William G. Tapply's Brady Coyne series, you're going to really enjoy Mr. Tapply's "Late, From the West Coast" - a great little twist at the end! Honestly, I really enjoyed all the stories and I think two writers to definitely watch out for are G.B. Pool and Sheila Lowe. Enjoy!
