Nice Waterproof Hiker/Outdoor Shoe That Doesn't Break The Bank!
I was looking at an outdoor shoe for some light tactical training and didn't want to spend $150 on Salomon or the likes. These had an overall good rating and looked the part. I especially liked the grey color with the green contrast. I will say that these fit true to size. I am an 11 and the 11 fit perfectly as far as toe room and heal. Oddly, the width is fatter than a normal shoe. I am not sure if this has to do with the waterproof design or whatnot, they just appear wide in the top of the shoe almost like the look of a ski boot. This does not affect the comfort at all. These shoes are very comfortable and offer great padding for the bottom of your foot and ample toe room. I like the laces, they are more of a rope type and seem durable and plenty long to double knot if you like. Eyelets seem durable and as long as you don't yank too forcefully, I cannot see damaging them. The tread seems rugged enough for outdoor terrain but not super hard where they become slippery on asphalt or the likes. As far as the overall weight of the shoe, they are definitely heavier than a pair of normal sneakers, but certainly not heavy. I feel like for a rugged shoe they are about right. As far as the waterproof part, haven't had a chance to test that out, but based on design, I would think as long as you aren't looking for deep puddles, these will be fine.Dollar for dollar, I am impressed with this shoe. They are good looking, comfortable, and affordable. What more could you ask for. Recommended.

Well made shoes.
These shoes have endured much better that any name brand I've tried. I go through a pair of shoes every month or so and wish they were cheaper but so far they have done very well. Waterproof with great traction! Highly recommend.

Not for daily use
I’ve had this pair of shoes for probably almost a year now and I have some good and not so good things to say about them.Con- Since they are waterproof that causes the moisture to become trapped in the shoe causing it to smell and I get trench foot (look it up) in patches on my feet from just wearing them for 8-10 hours.Pro- They are fully water proof (more the bottom of the shoe than top) you’ll never have to worry about those pesky puddles again.Con- For some reason the shoe laces just won’t stay tied. I have TRIPLE knotted them and no diceCon- The bottom of the shoes isn’t comfortable it feels flat and hard (I use them for working out and general daily use and by the end of the day my feet hurt)Con: They squeak like crazy when the rubber bottom is wet (and not like the normal shoe squeaks either)Conclusion: Don’t use these shoes daily. And even those the cons out rate the pros these shoes still rank high for they are better than most brands that literally disintegrate after one months used.

The worst.
So comfortable that you feel like your shoes are made of wood. Shoes so stiff it give rigor mortis a run for it’s money. Wish you had black socks when you only have white. One day in the puppies and your white socks will be stained black. Threw out the shoes on day one. Kept the shoestring cuz that’s some good cord for hiking supplies. The only plus. Love yourself and love your heels and go buy brand shoes. Your feet will thank you.

Great Shoe! but look what happened!
I got these to replace my everyday worn out tennis shoes. I do a lot of hiking on park trails and these shoes have so much better traction and walking comfort is better since I don’t feel rocks as easily through the sole. Shoe laces are way too long. Cut them to length and burn the ends to seal. Great shoe. Considering buying another pair just to have in stock. No problem jogging on the trails with these shoes too. No sores, hiked with them right out of the box. This is my go to everyday shoe now.update: June 2023Both shoes had the soles separate from the upper body at the toe end of the shoe. One shoe after 5 months and the 2nd after 8 months. I JB Welded both soles and clamped to dry. That appears to be holding. I've never had shoes come apart like these before. I would not buy these again.

Not bad for the price
I purchased these for hiking and playing disc golf (hiking, but more fun), since they needed to be grippy and at least water resistant. I had a chance this last weekend to test them out. Put about 10 miles on them over a few days, with plenty of wet grass and swampy areas and the water-proofing works well! They're not the most comfortable shoes I've ever had, but seem to be breaking in.My only complaint is there seems to be a section of the inner liner that wasn't applied correctly, or is peeling/bunching up in the right shoe toe box. If I wiggle my toes I can feel it on the upper level, but I don't notice it when I'm walking. We'll see how they hold up over time. I'll update the review when I have more miles on them.

they are realy waterproof
Ive been dissapointed by other shoes that promised to be waterproof, but these realy are, even in heavy rain and walking through puddles. The insole feels bumpy when you first try them on but after walking awhile the memory foam smooths out. They feel a little stiffer than other sneakers but this is not uncomfortable when walking.
