For casual use great
You need to twist in the locks to truly get them tights. They worked amazing for the casual hiker. I used the on the trails in AK. Truly a huge help. Light and easy to pack. Had to pull the outer pole completely to fit in my suitcase.

Awesome hiking poles.
I have bad knees and these hiking poles help a lot in reducing the knee pain on hills. I enjoy walking in the mountains but had stopped due to the pain. Once I started using hiking poles, I found I could get back to my love of the outdoors.The poles are sturdy. They extend to adjust to your needs.

Durable and lightweight
My wife and I each ordered a set and tried these out on our hike through Zion National Park a few weeks ago. They held up great, even through the Narrows! They were easy to adjust to whatever height you needed. And they came with several different feet for whatever terrain you encountered. Best value that I could find anywhere on the interwebz!

Product as descibed
I wanted something that would stand out because I was always misplacing my black ones. It's more of a metallic gold go it will still blend in to brownish grasses but it's much easier to see than plain black. next time I think I'll go for red!

Won't hold a lot of weight
These are somewhat nice but after using a few times the lock's have to tightened.

Can use instead of walking cane
I bought this for winter but have used it during the summer when my leg was bothering me.No regrets buying this!

Ordered by my physical therapist
My physical therapist reccomended these poles to use in recovery after I had a total knee replacement. They we r e very helpful and better than using a cane. I was able to walk more upright and with confidence having support on two sides. Plus I now have a pair of poles for hiking.
