You have to understand drag first
This movie actually touches on a problem that happens in the United States in certain conservative states: it's illegal to be employed if gay. It's a VERY interesting twist on resolution in the end, but one that comes with drag humor. If you don't watch drag race, the approach of the main character seems very brash and unorthodox, but that's the personality of the main actor/actress in real life. Search "Bianca del Rio" interview, and her approach to the interviews is the exact same as the movie. You have to understand the humor that comes into drag to enjoy the movie; I watch drag shows and drag race, so it's familiar, but still funny.

What I wanted, and I Want More!
My sister and I are RuPaul's Drag Race junkies, and this delivered. It has a lot of campy moments, and even when it's "serious," I wonder if The Rio made that choice to laugh at cheap television movies. One scene in particular, Del Rio chats up a rough day at work with her mentor in her car. From the camera angle, I'm suspicious they were sitting in plastic chairs in post production. I'm pretty certain of it, and it was worth a chuckle. Loved Bianca Del Rio the second she walked in to Ru's Race. Can we get a series of these?! I want Alyssa Edwards competing in a Texas Beauty Pageant like Miss Congeniality in drag, and I want an Alaska crash landing on Earth and trying to fit in. I'll take a whole set of these! Please have Katya in Hurricane Bianca 2: From Russia With Hate.

Ich liebe diesen Film. Er ist lustig, behandelt aber auch viele Probleme in der LBGT Szene. Schrill, bunt und lustig. Leider gibt es die DVD nur englischsprachig.

Bianca Del Rio is a Goddess
This Movie is super funny and really shows why Bianca Del Rio won RuPaul's Drag Race (Season 6). It was also great seeing Shangela and Willam. I suggest also watching Hurricane Bianca To Russia with Hate.
