This case is all wood, very attractive and well designed. If you were to buy the pastels, the colored pencils and paints separately without the nice case you would have paid more. I just received mine yesterday and I could not be happier. I see a lot of children on youtube getting these for presents, which is fine, but I am 69 and a very well established artist with my work in multiple galleries and I still can appreciate having several different mediums in a convenient package to travel with. My preteen requested an art set for Christmas and I came across this one. It is amazing at just how sturdy this set is. She loved the stacked trays that pull up and out as well as so many different paint options. None of the products were dried up like a different brand from a department store the year before. The price was great and the product was even better. I would recommend this set 100% to anyone searching for a nice art set for themselves or their child.

Dislike is the inter drawers don't open very well.

Bought for a Christmas present. My daughter loves it. She thought it was amazing, and then a few days later she realized it opened up and had even more art supplies in the lower area and kept saying how big it was. Lots of fun creating using all different mediums, Oil pastels, water color acrylics, and more. Sketchpads included.

My Grand daughter just loves it! She spent hours and hours using the oil pastels the first day she got the art set. What a boost for my little 8 year old artist! It will last her a while and keep her very busy.
