Ansellescue Gloves

Great for rope (and water rope) rescues.
I cannot ever find a small enough pair of gloves. This "small" was not perfect (wish there was an extra small option available). These fit as well as possible. I have really short fingers and it is difficult especially in rescue gear. These work great for Rope Operations and Swiftwater Rescue!I spent the money to find something closer to fitting and these were well worth my money.Purchased these before Swiftwater training. They help up great! Velcro held up in the water (even on the rivers strong current). These gloves are solid!I broke my finger during class and these gloves are still in amazing condition considering the rough treatment I gave them. They air dry nicely and wash well!So worth the money. Just wish they would offer an extra small!

Finally gloves that can take a beating
These rope gloves are on point! The leather is in the right spots for hauling and lowering loads without feeling a burn from the rope. Can tie knots no problem with the gloves on, and they are holding up great after building systems and rigging for a few hours a day for several weeks. Only downside is that there is no loop on the end of the gloves to hook a carabiner to. Definitely better made than other brands I have bought and trashed.

Hangs onto fur
My short-haired cat loves loves loves to be brushed once he figures out that he’s not being attacked by the random item I have in my hands. The silicone part of the glove is easy to clean, but I find the mesh outer part very difficult to clean. For me that means I have to get creative about where I’m going to store the glove because I’m not just going to leave it somewhere that I don’t want covered in copious amounts of cat hair. The fingers are also a little short. I don’t have long fingers whatsoever, but the fingers of the glove don’t come near to matching the size of my small-normal length fingers. Overall the glove works well, though, and it’s plenty efficient for the amount of money I spent on it.

Almost as good as my last pair
Always love these gloves. I've had and worn out a pair that I've owned for at least 8 years. Gloves worked great for technical rescue and when they're to beat up for that you can retire them to the yard. Since my last pair it's obvious that they've changed the style slightly. The velcro closure has been modified. Which I'm hoping is a good thing. Duct tape works best to tighten in a pinch. The only reason for not giving them 5 stars compared to my last pair they seem somewhat lighter and thinner. It is possible but that's just all the accumulated dirt and debris that I've collected over the years with these gloves. Time will tell.

Not for rigging or rope use.
Gloves were used to rigging and ropes for tree removals. Lasted 1 job. Material used actually melts due to rope friction. Numerous holes in gloves due to wear and melting. Overall the glove quality is decent but not for roping.

A pretty good purchase, I believe.
I liked them. True to my normal glove size. I’m a first responder and wear medium gloves for all my other gloves (structural, work, medical, etc.). I bought them for a rope rescue technician course, did an 8 story repel and noticed minimal heat. I was in them basically 80 hrs in the Florida “fall” and they were comfortable all day. Doing knots and configuring hardware were not impeded by wearing these gloves. All in all a good purchase I believe. Happy to have run into them.

Working K9 Gloves
Great overall gloves. The leather reinforcement is in the right places for rope usage without sacrificing hand function. The size runs large. I normally wear size medium, and had to return them for small. The terry cloth fabric comes in handy and is conveniently placed. A word of caution when using a flat line the edge can get into the finger joints where there is no reinforcement and cut. The quality and look of the gloves exceeded expectations.

Five Stars
The fit is excellent if you use the Ringer sizing chart on their website. Good dexterity. No complaints.
