The ultimate strap is slimmer, lighter and extremely packable. All the while maintaining the strength and length of the industry's top selling hammock straps. Nano weave technology this new technology makes the ultimate strap more than 2x lighter and sleeker than competing straps without sacrificing strength or durability. By weaving the loops we eliminate stitching which is the weak spot on all other hammock straps. It also eliminates the bulk of the strap. The result is the lightest and strongest hammock strap on the market. Nano weave taper here's where we drop the weight. We taper down the strap from 1 inch to .5 inch, thinning out 60% of the strap by half. By nano weaving the fibers together, the bottom of the taper remains just as strong as the top and so does the rest of the strap. This means less material, less weight and the same strength. Nano weave looping our nano weave straps are free of stitching, aka the weak points. Traditional stitching is used to construct most hammock straps. This leaves behind ridges, bulk and worst of all, weak links. There's a reason why so many products are double, triple and even quadruple stitched, right? Like any other hammock lounger, we care about the trees. We made the strap 1 inch wide to avoid girdling and damage to the bark and cambium. A little bit extra goes a long way in keeping our trees alive and healthy .

Good straps
When I bought these, my primary (favorite) hammock suspension used Kammock Python Straps. These are ever-so-slightly lighter weight, and a little smarter in the tapering design. However, where the Kammock straps are still useful with small, close anchor points (some 4"x4" posts in a backyard hammock stand), these UH straps wouldn’t work; the attachment points begin too far down the line. I assume they had fat trees in mind, but not everyone always hangs from fat trees. Sometimes you want to use a stand, or roll bar on a vehicle, or a metal post, etc. Also, these seemed to stretch more than the Kammock straps. Both immediately, when sitting in the hammock (it felt almost like my hammock was elastic as I sunk into it), and overnight (I woke up about an inch from the ground).Still, these are very good straps. I thought I would use them as my new primaries, but I like the Kammock Python Straps better for the way I use my hammocks. These UH straps will live with my other hammock setup on my bicycle for hanging out, but not for sleeping. They’re still great, but make sure you’re going to have some thicker trees (or not so close together), and make sure you hang a little bit higher than you normally would to account for stretch.

Ultralight, affordable, and easy to use!
These straps are probably the lightest you can go before getting into more expensive Kevlar and Dyneema stuff that only shaves off a few more grams.

Strong and lightweight.
Bought these for my son to use while at college. Wanted something versatile and lightweight. Work as advertised.

Great!
My daughter absolutely loves this!! It definitely does the job. How ever it is big and even with folding can be hard to store if you don’t have the proper room.

Much lighter than others I've had
These straps were much lighter and packed a lot smaller than all of the other straps that I've had for hammocks. Great for backpacking/camping!

You're definitely paying for some branding here, but the quality is good and it does a perfect job.
