Product label says step stool only rated for 75lbs
In the description this step stool is said to hold 250 pounds. The seller says it can hold 300 pounds in the Q&A.Upon receiving the stool, imagine my surprise when I see one label that states "Holds up to 250 LBS" and a label on the other side that states "MAXIMUM STANDING CAPACITY 75 LBS." This renders the product useless for our needs.I bought this for my children but I'm returning it due to the contradictory product info and the fact that the plastic is very flimsy and flexes easily. I'm uncertain that the stool could safely support the weight of a child.

Works great, sturdy, (and cute!)
I love these stools. I have one in every closet. I’m a professional organizer and have gotten them at Container Store - but don’t like the folding of the CS version (easy to pinch hands when folding and unfolding). You can sometimes find them a little cheaper at Home Goods, but not always the color you want and they are more often 9 inches tall instead of 11... they are also hit or miss. So I’ve just switched to this one so I can precisely and quickly get the color and height combo I want without hunting.Feels very sturdy. There’s a wider version for anyone concerned with that... for example my mom in her seventies looses balance easily in general so I like the wider shorter one for her. Otherwise this is perfectly sturdy for me. Opens and closes easily. Folds up and hides discretely. And the polka dots are cute!

Sturdy and easy to use by a 2 year old with supervision.
My 2 1/2 year old grandson LOVES his step stool. He uses it to reach the bathroom sink to wash his hands. He also carries it (by its built in handle) into the Kitchen. He can unfold it by himself and steps up next to me at the kitchen sink. He can help me wash vegetables, count the potatoes, etc. He loves to play one potato, two potato... He watches me peel the veggies and helps me with the cut potatoes, puts them In the pot to cook them. I let him add the salt. After they are cooked he moves his stool to the next counter, he adds the butter and seasoning and watches Grandma whip them. He gets to stir them and we set the table. Last time he ate 3 servings of potatoes :-). When we are done he folds up the stool by himself and puts it away behind the trash can. This little stool has added value to my time with my Grandson. Sturdy and easy to use. I’m HAPPY I GOT THIS STOOL. Great product!!!

Very handy
I have a taller one at home in my kitchen and bought this one for my office. They fold up so small they are easy to keep handy and work great. Easy to use.

Great little stool!
Exactly what I was looking for! Great weight capacity, and doesn't feel flimsy. Folds flat for easy storage. I use mine to help my elderly mother get into my pickup. The step bars are too high for her and this stool is perfect to help her to climb in. I also use it at the car wash to finish drying my truck. My 240 lbs does't bother this stool at all.

once i got this, i got rid of my easygopro/squatty potty. also works great as an actual step stool
i got this to use as a stepstool to reach high cabinets and it's been great, supports me at 180-195 pounds no problemo. i love the color and how easily it folds and unfolds. (btw i'm a 5'8 woman.)i have a small nyc bathroom, and kept an easygopro (it's like a squatty potty) to put my feet on while i did my business on the toilet - it positions your body so things flow right out (read reviews for that) - but it's very wide and took up too much floor space in the bathroom. then i was staring at it the other day, and thinking, "this is basically a glorified step stool." it was 7.5" high. i got rid of it when i realized this stepstool works just as well, with the added benefit that it's a cute color, much cheaper, and folds up, leaving a lot more free floor space. now this one is 11" high, so i have to lift my legs up quite a lot which i don't mind. **my husband who is 6' tall says it's too high for him - his legs are longer than mine. YMMV.i also have the 9" folding stepstool, and i actually prefer this 11" high one for bathroom use. i tried both. this taller one makes me lift my leg higher but ...gives me a better angle. i suppose it depends on your height and leg length. i absolutely love seeing that pink stool in my bathroom (brightens the room up) and cool that i actually have other uses for it (it's so lightweight, so i can easily move it to the kitchen to get something off a high cabinet, but i always keep this leaning against the bathroom wall bc i use it daily), unlike the easygopro/squatty potty, which only had one use..and it's also really nice having way more floor space in the bathroom now. it's been great to actually see what's on my highest shelves too :-) it also flips open or closed in less than a second, no pulling or pushing. i highly recommend this.

It does open and closes very easily. I weigh 185 lbs and the step does ...
The step arrived as stated. It does open and closes very easily. I weigh 185 lbs and the step does not feel like it has any problem holding my weight. The feel is solid when used as the illustration on the step shows, with two feet on the step and without trying to stand in the middle on one foot. you pick the step up and it collapses as you lift it into a flat position. Easily stored in a small space.

This Stool Will Break!
Really like the size and light weight and ease of use of this stool for my shorter 120 lb wife to reach overhead cabinets in our van style RV. But it broke on the second trip when she was reaching up to put something away. Thank goodness it was a narrow lane between two beds and when she fell no serious harm was done. Beware I saw other reviews about the stool breaking and figured they were rare but this stool will break and collapse.
