I hardly ever leave reviews unless it's worth reviewing and I have to say as a beginner in the self tanning world.... This product is amazing. I have never used a self tanner in my life, I am fair skinned and burn in the sun but this was the easiest most pleasant experience ever. I definitely recommend this product. I am watching my sun kissed glow appear as I write this, it's been about three hours and I'm in love! No streaking, no blotches, just a nice even subtle tan and it has such a fresh scent. I will definitely purchase more of this product for continued use and most likely will not try any other self tanning products since this one did exactly what it claimed to do! Trustworthy and worth the money!

Great for our light skin to build with!!

This is going to be split into 2 parts:1. What to know if you decide to purchase this product2. What to do if your pump doesn’t work (like mine)1. First, I have used this product for two and a half years - and NEVER had a complaint. I have used multiple bottles and always got great compliments on my tan which has been a huge ego boost, as I can not naturally tan and am predisposed to skin cancer. I normally purchase direct from the Sephora website or a physical Sephora store, but this time I had no option but Amazon. I didn’t bother reading the reviews (mistake number 1). When I received it, there had been this weird, milky film floating around inside the bottle. I had NEVER noticed this before. I shook it, assuming it was separation. Still didn’t combine. MY SECOND MISTAKE WAS TRYING TO STILL USE THE PUMP - DO NOT DO THIS IF YOURS ARRIVES WITH THIS WEIRD FILM. Get a cheesecloth (preferred) or any kind of drainage utensil to separate the film from the liquid. It’s fine if there are small particles but the larger ones will clog your pump and render it useless. Refill the liquid back in the bottle after at least two drains, and you should be fine. And if you have already messed with the pump, read part 2.2. Okay, so you must follow the draining instructions at the end of part 1 - the pump is now useless but you can use any other pump top to replace it. I drained the bottle from the milky film twice and then bought a bottle of foaming hand wash. I transferred the soap liquid to another bottle (reused a water bottle), cleaned out the soap bottle, and refilled my now clean tanning solution into it.I am waiting for the clean tanning solution to dry on my skin now. I’ll update this review with whether it worked or not.*UPDATE* it worked perfectly, and I still achieved a great, even tan. I won’t update the scoring because honestly I had to go out and waste more money (and time) on correcting an issue that should have been picked up on when they were doing quality control.

This is the first tanning product that I’ve actually used over and over. It does not leave you blotchy streaky or faded in different places. I put it on and leave it on for 24 hours. Let it fully develop and it’s good for at least three days through showers and everything. It’s a wonderful product and it looks all natural not orange at all.

The only reason I'm giving this a 3 star is that this is the second bottle I've purchased where the pump does not work. Come on guys - get this fixed and get back the 5-star rating you deserve! It really works well when you can get it out of the bottle!

This is an excellent self tanner, with a frequently faulty pump bottle design. The first bottle was great and the next three bottles were faulty. What a waste of money, time, and energy due to poor quality packaging. Do not purchase.

The tanner itself works well. I’m not a fan of it going on clear so I can’t tell where or how even it is. My pump also broke after two uses so now it won’t foam up and I just have to pour the liquid on a mitt.

Like many others said, the pump worked for about 1 application and then stopped pumping out the foam and just sort of squirts some liquid. I returned the first bottle I bought for this reason and unfortunately have the same issue with the second. I had high hopes because I love the face drops, but I am really disappointed in this product.
