UST Heritage Camp 1,000 Lumen Water Resistant Lantern with Dimmer Switch and Hook for Camping, Hiking, Emergency and Outdoor Survival

Since we have our share of power outages I wanted to add another lantern to my growing inventory of flash lights & lanterns. Usually sit through the first couple hrs of an outage before I break out the generator.I was impressed by the light output from this lantern. It's bright enough to light up an entire room & you do not want to stare at it when it's a full output. The light is blinding.Only problem I noticed is there's no instructions on how to turn it on. Took me a few minutes to figure out that you have to push the know in for a couple seconds for it turn on. There were people commenting that their lantern wouldn't turn on & that is probably the reason. No markings on the lantern telling you how to turn on.Otherwise excellent lantern and would buy another if needed.

After finding only one online review for the UST Heritage LED Camp Lantern, I took my chances and purchased it. I am so glad I did, this lantern is terrific. I needed a lantern that was as bright as my Coleman Deluxe Propane Lantern (which rates at 967 lumens), but that is safe to use indoors. This lantern is exactly that. It's extremely bright in 3 of it's 4 available settings, the 4th setting being the very pleasant amber candle flicker mode, all modes are dim-able. I like the option of being able to use natural white, cool white, amber or amber candle flicker, depending upon my particular lighting need at a given time , whether it be lighting a large space or lighting a table for dinner without blinding my dining companions. I really like the amber mode which gives a very pleasant warm incandescent vintage tone, but if I want the cool tones of standard LED, I can have that, too.As far as it's durability, this lantern is sturdy, but I would not call it "rugged." This lantern is exactly what I needed.

I like our new lantern a lot, and think it's a fantastic deal! It's very cute, bright, and such a nice addition to our lantern and flashlight collection. It was very well packed, and shipped speedily. Heartily recommended!

It is vey cool and work well.

It just works. Light is quite bright, and it can easily be carried from room to room. Perfect for use during California's Public Safety Power Shutoffs.
