I liked these so much I've bought two sets now. I have a peacock themed formal living/dining room.I didn't want everything to be too much so we chose peacock colors and kept the actual peacock pictures and such subtle so as to not make the room overwhelming. The pattern on these is light, delicate and very pretty. The price point is great so I don't feel bad using them often. I bought a 2nd set to have as replacements... A new kitten and one of the plates got into a tussle and the plate ended up in pieces on the floor! I have received many compliments on this set.

Ten years ago I remodeled my kitchen and house with blues and greens. Peacock colors. I bought two sets and have used them every day. I'm just now retired and for a present to myself pulled out my other 222 Fifth Garden Letuce sets. I bought these when they were around $80.00 per 16 piece set. They will go into storage now and I might bring them back out someday. I never had any issues over mine and they were my every day dishes.

I truly beautiful set of dishes. I love them. The dinner plates are a little bigger than I'd like, and the secondary plates are a little smaller, but overall I'm very happy with the plates .The bowls are equally lovely, however they're very deep & narrow at the top, so they do not fit in the dishwasher well at all. If you get a set of eight, you're not going to be able to stack them all in one pile.The cups are lovely, & feel nice in the hand. They do not get hot in the microwave, & they add a bit of class to whatever you're drinking. That said, they don't hold a whole lot, so unless you're drinking tea & refilling it out of a pot , this may not be a large enough capacity for you. I tend to make my coffee in a travel mug, so I don't have to keep refilling it.Overall, it's a very nice set of dishes, & the bottoms don't have super scratchy rings. They're pretty smooth overall. They go in the toaster oven to preheat the plates well, & hold the heat. They go through the dishwasher just fine, no discoloration, & while they do take up a fair bit of room, I think you could stack eight plates with no problem - assuming you're cabinet was strong enough to hold them. They are pretty hefty. So if arthritis is a problem for you, you might want to look at Corelle instead. That is my problem, so I frequently use the Corelle on days when my hands hurt.Overall, these are the prettiest dishes I've ever seen at this price point. I love them, but I'm not 100% sure they're great for family dining.

This was a gift but I was present when the recipients opened it. The gift was very well received and in good condition. The dishes were all intact and the colors were brilliant. The blue is more of a aqua versus baby blue in color. Was not as busy as I thought it would be and therefore very pleasing to the eye. It was not gaudy nor distasteful. Everyone thought it was quite classy.

Just moved a few weeks ago, and getting almost everything new. I've always wanted to add peacock accents to my decor. The problem with busy patterns such as peacock, or paisley, is that they can be over the top, and too much. These dishes had a simple, elegant design that was perfect for me. They are even prettier than I thought they would be! A bonus is that the gold in the design has a real metallic sheen when the light hits it. I was afraid it would be dull. Pictures did not do them justice. The colors are jewel tone, and gorgeous. Everything was extremely well packaged and protected-no broken pieces, chips, or dings. Can't wait to order another set of four!

The dishes are beautiful, and just as expected. Once I learned they were shipping from CA I was honestly expecting breakage. The packing in the box is well thought out, sturdy, AND completely recyclable. So if that worry might hold you back from ordering (like me), I think you will have no problems. I plan to update this review once I've used them for a while and we see how they hold up.
