Good shorts, good material and standard fit.

It is coming up on the two year anniversary of my ordering these shorts. How sweet, I know. But what You, good stranger on Amazon, want to know is, "How good are these shorts?" And after using these near daily for the last 700 odd days, I feel I am in a good position to answer that question.The feel:These shorts fit snugly, not too tight, but definitely a closer fit than traditional running or workout shorts. They have a stretchy feel, almost like thin sweatpants, but light and breathable. And like sweatpants, they are remarkably comfy. I found this to feel much better than the standard synthetic materials I was used to.Usage:I first bought these shorts to train for a marathon. I am sure I have ran well over 250 miles in these as well as used them for other purposes. Not only did these also become my gym shorts, but I also purchased another pair of these to use for bedtime because THEY ARE SO DANG COMFORTABLE!Additional Pro:*The zippered pockets on the side are useful for storing my phone, keys, and/or wallet while I run and workout. Since the material is snug and stretchy, it holds the items fairly in places so they don't jostle about much while you move.Cons:*The drawstrings are more of an inconvenience. They aren't really needed because of the flexible fit of the shorts, and they have a tenancy to come untied or get pulled out altogether from the shorts while in the wash. Also, the aglets (plastic at the end of a lace or cord) come off after a few washes. However, these shortcomings didn't interfere with the shorts.*After two years of use, the zipper on one of my pockets finally broke.*After two years of use, I am finally noticing some small holes forming in the material.Conclusion:I started this review giving these shorts 4/5 stars. However, after reviewing everything I've said and considering what I've gotten out of these shorts, I am bumping it up to 5/5. Are they the best shorts out there? No. But they are remarkable for a $20 buy.

Excellent, slim fit, but only 2 pockets, slightly annoying for tennis.

I’ve been using these shorts for years, just for music festivals due to pockets having a zipper. It’s very comfortable and pockets are deep enough to store a lot of your valuables. Zipper pockets makes it harder for pick pockets at music festivals to a point where they probably won’t bother with you.Been in groups that had their phones stolen with me next to them, but mine being completely safe. Highly recommend these to my music festival friends.
