I truly hope the artisian receives a considerable amount of the cost of this shawl. It is lightweight, yr-round wear-able. I wore it over my navy wool cardigan from Ireland in the snowstorm. It was just enough to cover my head and shoulders, not heavy so my hair stayed in tack. It was a bit expensive, but I consider it worth it if it contributes to the personal and village economy where it was made.The pattern is beautiful; for those who love true blues, you won't be disappointed. Although it is made of wool it is not scratchy in the least, very soft and gentle.

Quality fabric that drapes beautifully. Rich blues that blend with multiple shades. Look forward to purchasing from this maker again!

It is really quite beautiful but I don't know how to use it. I look at the picture and I don't know what's holding it in place. If there is a pin somewhere, that should have been mentioned. the picture also does not seem to be the same width as the shawl I received. Can it possible be arranged by the model herself or was it draped and pinned for her??? I need user instructions, please.

This shawl is stunning. The quality is top notch. No shedding like you may experience with a lesser quality item. The fabric is soft and a perfect weight for all seasons.

As all the other reviewers have said, this is an absolutely beautiful shawl--soft, thin enough to work in summer or spring, indoors or out, and breathtaking colors. Novica artisans amaze again.

I'm writing this because the manufacturer keeps sending me e-mails asking for a review. Here it is: I bought this Wool Shawl as a Christmas gift for someone else. I'm a straight guy and I know nothing about clothing so maybe I'll re-review this after I get some feedback from the recipient.

This is not worth the price - extremely thin and not at all what I expected for 100% alpaca. Feels more like acrylic blend. The colour is very nice.

This is NOT alpaca. I did keep it as it is beautifully dyed and otherwise a lovely piece. But if you want alpaca, find another reputed seller.
