Great Value, Solid Device
I got these with a little trepidation because I've seen how Amazon Reviews aren't all that accurate and for me this is a medium expense for something I'll use four or five times a year. Therefore, I did my research and checked many reviews in many places. All of them agreed with the reviews on here so I felt confident in ordering them.I have to say that after receiving and testing the product I agree with them as well. Huzzah! The optics are not perfect, but for the money, are likely some of the best you will get without spending thousands of dollars. Collimation is very good. Tested it with a Moire Pattern laser rig I made. They were 1/2 wave off, but that's in Total, so very nice. Most professional telescopes are in that range. Binoculars rarely are, unless special care is taken in quality control. It's NOT "luck of the draw".Construction seems solid, battery holder seems to be well milled with no burrs. I expect that the rest of the hardware is also well milled, based upon that observation. The focus and interpupillary distance are both smooth and tight. After setting them where I wanted, I hung them on my own strap around my neck and moved around doing various tasks for about 15 minutes. The interpupillary distance was off about 3-4 degrees from where I set them. The focus didn't change at all.The real negative is the case "strapping". The Case was great, but the harness is a mess. There is nowhere near enough room to "mount" these on your chest AND use them normally, you'd have to be like 5'2" tall and 110 lbs. OR a kid?I'm 6'2" tall and 240lbs. and while I could "mount" the harness on my chest, the length of the straps limited me lifting them to half way up to my eyes. This is really a poor design IMHO.I scrapped it entirely and made my own strap using military webbing and the plastic clip hardware provided. The Range finder is rated at +- 1 yards and I found that this was accurate out to at least 1500 yards. I think the real issue is reflective surfaces, glass, metal, etc.: As one might expect.Even "partial" reflections from shiny surfaces near the target "take over" and miss range. But honestly you can't really blame that on anything but the way the technology works in the first place.I am not sure how wide the beam is at 1500 yards but it feels like it's at least 2"?You can pivot(askew from centerline) the glasses slightly at that range about 1-2 degrees and still keep the object in the middle and the range doesn't change. This isn't a bad thing, unless you are in bright light circumstances, like snow or sand, because you could get reflections from the surface closer to you if the target is in that field. Overall, for the money you've spent, this is a rare thing, but something to keep in mind. The "grip" of the texture on these is also very nice. I feel like I could hold these for hours and not get tired wrists, hands, or finger fatigue. Also, the balance on these are great. Even at 1500 yards I found I could hold them on target for along time with very little effort. Most of this is actually due to the eye relief distance I think? It was by far the best binocular experience I've had in a long time.

Good Value
I just returned from an elk hunt, where I had the opportunity to use these binoculars under actual field conditions. The weather was brutal, with strong winds and temperatures hovering around zero. Despite these unfavorable conditions, the binoculars generally functioned well. I say "generally" because the range-finding feature proved somewhat temperamental. Specifically, it sometimes required several attempts before it would actually range anything. I do not know whether the range-finder's fussiness was attributable to the horrific weather, though it proved an annoyance...not a deal-breaker by any means, though something to be aware of. The glass used in these binoculars was far better than I'd anticipated and even impressed my elk guide. In summary, these are solid binoculars, if a little idiosyncratic. I'd buy them again.OCT. 2023 UPDATE:Just returned from another elk hunt, where the weather was far more clement than on my November 2022 hunt. Binocs functioned perfectly and ranged without a hitch. As noted in my initial review, the below-zero, windy conditions on my previous hunt evidently detracted from the Astra's ability to range consistently, which I suspect is probably true with all range-finding binocs, irrespective of brand. In summary, I'm extremely pleased with these binoculars and highly recommend them.

Very good glass! A definite buy!
I was skeptical given the price, very happy I made this purchase. Glass is as clear as my Vortex Diamondback Binos! Even in low light this glass can see antler points on whitetails. The yardage readout is in the lower left corner and does not obstruct the view. The chest rig easily adjust and comes with everything my $100 chest rig from another company has. The buttons are easy to press and do not cause you to move off target. This one set of binos and rangefinder will be replacing two items I carry, so less things to forget and grab for. Modes are easily changed and once set will be there when you hit the rangefinding button. If you take the price of the chest rig out this rangfinder binocular is only $400 which is way less than I paid for my current rangfinder and binos that are separate! Even if the chest rig was not included these are less expensive and well worth the price!HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!My only recommendation would be a color changing LED for low light readouts.

Great Product
I needed binoculars that would be good for multiple purposes. The angle compensation mode and built in ballistics feature meets the need for hunting, while the bright optics and 10 power magnification will work well for birding. It also comes with a Golf mode that has both a slope and pin lock feature which makes these even good for golf. The optics on these laser rangefinder binoculars are surprisingly good. They seem accurate as well. They are well built and are not too big or bulky. The price was a lot lower than other laser rangefinder binoculars that I have seen. I also enjoyed the case with binocular harness. And the fact that it comes with a lifetime warranty is another bonus.

Broke
Arrived with a broken battery compartment and the rangefinder does not function. Glass looks decent at least.
