XPETIMen’s Mid-Ankle Thermator Waterproof Tactical Boot

Arrived on time. Well packaged. Really like the way these boots look. Wore them all day & they were super comfortable; no break in period necessary. Definitely waterproof. Kept my feet warm & dry.The big disappointment is the lack of traction on wet flooring. I got these boots because in 2008 I broke both ankles & I need shoes/boots that give me support & keep my feet solidly on the ground. I was walking in a kitchen on tiled floor that was a little wet & I was slipping which caused my feet, ankles & legs to become tense.I really really like everything about these boots except for the slipping.I originally planned to by the other two colors but now I'm reconsidering since I don't feel as confident walking in these boots as I think I should given how much tread is on the soles.I'm keeping this pair & I do recommend them for so many reasons but not to prevent slipping.

These boots are easily the most uncomfortable that I have ever had. Not exaggerating...and I have gone through a lot of boots as I am a delivery service worker.For me the problem is in the toe box area of the boot. The discomfort comes from just regular walking. The top part of the boot that creases as I walk has a very stiff material in it that jams down on the knuckles of my toes as the boot creases when I walk.I received the boots on 10/20/2020. I wore them to work on 10/21/2020, felt the discomfort but just thought I needed to break them in. Wore them to work again on 10/22/2020 & knew right away that something wasn’t right. The non stop contact of the boot jamming down on my toes knuckles ever time I took a step. Long story short on 10/23/2020 I wore my old super beat up pair of boots.The yellow circle in the picture is where the discomfort is.The good part about the boot is that the sole is actually comfortable and the ankle support is good as well.

I am coming from the crest Evo boot to these. The fact that The Evo replacements wont ship till late December I abandoned that purchase. I inserted a pic next to these to give a height comparison. The Evo pics are misleading to look just as tall as these.On that note if they are anything like the Evos they say spray after every time you clean them but I’ve never had water intrusion. They held onto the water like a sponge so I know that’s the worst of my experience with these. These look like a blacked out version of the hiking trekking boots and all the pics show this. If that are also like the Evo the soles are super durable even for this price tag. The tread patterns on hard flooring feel like soccer shoes. I’ve tried them w/o insoles but ended up adding them. After that they are the best feeling boot for this price range. I wore the Evo for winter summer and fall with no real hot feet issues.The box has a paper that says 12 month’s warranty but I’ve never seen anyone on any of these reviews get them to honor past 30 days.*11.1.2021*1 week of wear they are exactly like the Evos where you gotta break them in. They will feel like Soccer cleats during this break in and then that will go away. I can't wait for snow to show up just to try these out. I don't want the driving with other drivers in the snow part, just the way these feel in snow if they are like the EVOs to the "T" So far they are holding up to 40 days and 40 nights of rain they we keep getting lately so I'm confident they will do just fine. They are like the EVOs they won't externally dry fast w/o help from a heat source or moving air blowing on them. Still no water intrusion for low puddles and the soles evacuate the water away well. Don't take this piece of info and go swimming in them.*12.10.2021* Still holding up, they attract dirt/dust given they are a black cloth shoe material. Still no new issues. Haven't seen enough snow to gauge their traction, they are the exact same sole as the EVOs so in theory they should act identical.

Possibly the best tactical boot that I have purchased, I wore them on the first day I received them! First impressions: amazing comfort and stability and durability! I am a professional armed security officer required to inspect local power and water infrastructures during third shift. I am required to walk the perimeters of most facilities I visit, very challenging at night! Most facilities are located a ways out beyond even commercialized zones and have some pretty rough terrain, a lot of mud and water. At 68, uneven surfaces present a challenge for me and these boots give me a stability that other tactical boots do not. The XPETI Men’s Mid-Ankle Thermator Waterproof Tactical Boot is rugged and durable and truly water proof. I even found that they are chemical proof as well when I accidently doused them with gasoline while filling one of our vehicles! They simply wiped clean! The insole is excellent for my problematic feet and ankles and seriously comfortable. They required no break-in period! I've worn them for almost 2 weeks now every night, in rain, mud and cold (30's & 40's here in Florida) and they have performed excellently. I recommend these XPETI Men’s Mid-Ankle Thermator Waterproof Tactical Boots to anyone that is on their feet walking through tough terrain a lot due to their durability, comfort and stability!

I purchased these because of medical related problems with my feet. I looked for a shoe with good ankle support these have that. The height and the rigid molded heel on these boots provide excellent support for ankles. I was concerned these would be heavy they are NOT. As you can see from my photos they appear to be waterproof up to about 5' in. The insoles are very soft and cushiony. These are very well made and comfortable. If you need a shoe for ankle support buy these now excellent shoe for the price.

I was looking for a vegan boot that is waterproof and quality at a good price, and its hard to find that.I cannot say about how long they will last, although they look very well made etc, but after my first walk in them they are great.I dont find them bulky, all walking boots have to be reasonably sized for support, I am a size ten always, and these fit perfectly (I am a wide fitting). No wearing in period needed, probably the most comfortable boot I have ever worn or up there with the most comfortable, and I have years of safety boot wearing as a truck driver to compare it against.IF they last and the waterproof membrane continues to work then they are fantastic value for money, I am very pleased with them, and would recommend them

I am very happy with these!I am a one pair of shoes kind of guy and very very hard on shoes. They must just take everything I throw at them.These are my winter/outdoor boots.Dog walks in muddy fields and hikes through woodlands etc.Living in UK it tends to be cold and very wet. So need a strong , durable ,waterproof boot that keeps my feet warm.These have FAR exceeded my needs.So comfortable and warm. Feels as though im wearing my wife's UGG boots lol and two weeks in, they can take a beating while still looking fresh.When or IF these ever tire. I will be ordering another pair.Finally a shoe that can handle me! 😂

When i ordered these and clicked the size I wanted then added them to the basket. It would change to a size smaller in checkout , don't worry this is a glitch in Amazon's system. You will get the correct size you first clicked on.These boots are very good in design and build , very comfortable and are 100% waterproof as I've walked in very waterlogged caves and tested them to the max. Ankle support is very strong which is why i bought them , would recommend 👍

These fit really well, although I do double sock during my hikes. The boots are solid enough to give great support with molded soles giving impressive grip in the wet and dry. Good laces and design. Very happy and would certainly recommend. Priced well and does the same as much more expensive offerings. And vegan compliant, so all good!

These XPeti Boots are definitely made for walking. Very stylish indeed. Most sleek in style, the fabric and colour is of a nice true deep black. Once on, the product is true to size and fit also, they look the part. One very happy customer indeed.
