Very clever. My son wears a uniform with tie at work and doesn't want a visible tie bar or tack, but for safety and appearance doesn't want the tie flapping around. These seem perfect (will update with a comment when he's used them a few times.Just to clarify (because I misunderstood) here are three fasteners in the package. Each has three pieces. I thought the three items pictured were the three parts of one fastener. This price for three is more reasonable than for one.Each fastener does have three part: a sphere and two rings that sit on either side of the sphere. All are magnetic.To "install":1) Put one ring inside of the front part of the tie;2) Line up the two ends of the tie and put the sphere behind the back part of the tie so it lines up with the ring in the front part.3) Let the tie hang to see where those magnets align with your shirt. You don't want them lined up with a shirt button; if they are, slide the magnets around to adjust them (you don't have to remove them); half way between two shirt buttons is best.4) With the tie hanging, slide the second ring inside your shirt so it lines up with the magnets already on the tie.Looking Good!The magnets are surprisingly strong -- enough so I found it a little difficult to separate the rings from the sphere (they are rather small and very smooth, and I've lost some manual dexterity.) Son had no problem with it. You also don't want to set them down too close to each other -- it's surprising to see them "jump" together (especially annoying if you've just struggled a bit to get them apart!)Son's company-issued name badge also uses magnetic attachments. The march of progress!

I like this size for ladies scarves better than the big ones. I have a set of the bigger, stronger ones with gold/silver cap. These smaller ones are easier to hide and used in inconspicuous places. I am glad that I purchased this smaller size.

Great magnet strength and stays in place. A little on the larger side. I am tall and have to use long ties that always do not reach backside loop. Great fastener though!!

These fasteners work very well and they are virtually unseen. They hold your tie in place perfectly all day. My only gripe (and it’s a small one) is that you have to insert a ring up into the fabric of the tie and they can get stuck in there very easily.

Best tie magnet holder on the market. A definite must for those who have to wear a tie every day for work.

Hubby loves this and boy is it strong! Nice gift for the professional who wears ties daily.

Excellent quality and price

Very confusing how to correctly use them. No clear instructions. Not easy to conceal. You basically have to wear it on the outside of the tie where it's visible which defeats its purpose.
