definitely relaxing, but you'll feel the workout
Yes, the relaxation is the after effect of this one. Don't plan on just sitting and meditating. Wai Lana focuses very specifically on strengthening and toning muscles at a slow steady pace. Of the three beginners workouts, this is no less challenging. Like Wai Lana's other DVD's, if I can't reach as far as she does, I don't sweat it or strain myself. I just do what I can do and then I feel great afterward. Like the other Wai Lana workouts, the music is nice, the scenery is the most beautiful, her voice is soothing, and she even wears flowing, colorful outfits. I have the Beginners and the Toning Workout DVD's as well and I love all three.

Great Yoga work out
I really like Wai Lana Yoga videos. This is one of my faves, the other one is "Goodbye Inertia". The reason I like them is that they are no nonsense workouts -not aerobics- where you learn Yoga moves that will help you get stronger, more flexible and more relaxed. Some of the videos I've tried before are either too long or too difficult for a beginner. Some will talk you to death. You put this on and that's it :you're on and ready to go with a minimum of fuss. There are special features you can explore (I haven't yet) but I just do the main workout. There are also sections at the end for meditation.

I like all her workouts and bright clothing changes
I like all her workouts and bright clothing changes. The Beginner's one being the easiest, I did this one, relaxation, for the first time after a lot of gardening and sore muscles, and it really helped. Some can be challenging but I do enjoy them all. As a cancer survivor I feel workouts such as these Wai-Lana yoga are essential to my continued good health and immune promotion in addition to the nutritional aspect.

Good workout
Not as relaxing as I thought it would be, but it is a good yoga workout. I really like Wai Lana and the stretches and technique she performs. I am a hardcore workout buff and am just starting to get into yoga and I find the stretches great for my super tight muscles in my back. I have noticed a reduction in back tightness and pain since I have been doing yoga, and really enjoy this tape. There is also a really good exercise for the rotator cuff that she does in this workout.

Calming in several ways
Not only does this yoga workout induce a calming physical sensation, but also the narrator's voice and the scenery work well together to enhance a sense of well-being.

OMG this DVD is one of the “most cheesiest things” I've ever watched in my life! Her voice alone is like nails on a choke board!

Wai Lana Review
I found Wai Lana's relaxation workout to be wonderful- I really enjoyed her gentle approach, and found her instruction very easy to follow. It certainly lives up to it's name.

Dated. Some of the moves are difficult not for beginners as it claims. Pulled my shoulder muscles and haven't used since. Wai Lana dressed up like a Christmas tree is distracting.

It is good video! more hardcore stretching and exercising than i thought they'd be! the Relaxing bit is just some music at the end and i was disappointed in this!

Good for those who want to start yoga
I got this because I thought it would be great for someone starting out in yoga, its harded than i thought... but good for beginners
