These were impossible to keep on my son. The top opening is so wide that of my son kicked the bottom the whole thing would go down his shoulders allowing him to pull his arms out. At the same time, the Velcro is weak, so the pieces don't stay in place. Finally, you have to undo the whole thing if you need to do a middle of the night diaper change (which you will ALSO with newborns), which wakes up the baby. Go with something that has a zipper and a neckhole instead.

I have a newborn, first time parents for my husband and I and our swaddle game was lacking. We couldn’t make a perfect hospital swaddle that our daughter was use to. She spent an extra few days in the nciu. When we got home I remembered that I bought these swaddle blankets and my husband and I couldn’t believe that it could be this easy to make a perfect swaddle each time for our newborn. I quickly bought another set for her. The Velcro will probably wear out over time because we’re using them so much, so I make sure that they’re sealed each time I wash them. Definitely a must for your registry.

Initially, I loved these swaddles because my baby would break out of swaddles and wake himself up if I just used a muslin blanket to swaddle him. After using this a couple of times I started finding small circular hard pieces of plastic in my baby’s head. Then I noticed the plastic was stuck in his sheet and onsie too. It came from the Velcro in the middle section of the swaddle.

Love swaddle sacks! So much easier than the swaddle blankets! Our little guy wriggled out if his blankets ever half hour or so and needed to be reswaddled and these saved us countless hours of sleep!

Was smaller than I thought for my little one. She ended up breaking out of the swaddle. Not super easy to use to change in the middle of the night. Was soft and cute design.

My newborn daughter loves being swaddled (unlike the first one).i brought this swaddle blanket to the hospital anybody love oh! Very easy and itches a little stretch to it.

bought for newborn baby for summertime wrap, since it is cotton it stretches and doesn’t stay tight like a wrap should be. I have to wash after every wear to keep fabric tight. overall it’s okay.

Best swaddle for a 6 1/2 - 7 lb baby! Most of my other swaddles were too bulky for her when she was smaller!
