This is the "real deal" - there is actually a Nurse Hatty who cares about the product, how it is used, it you are having a problem with the product or just need product related advice. I thought there was a problem with the test strips since our tap water showed a pH of 4.5, but I got an immediate email reply suggesting that I test vinegar, baking soda and cow's milk. I did and the test strips were exactly as they should have been, so the revelation was that our municipal tap water was not 6.9-9 as published on line but actually a shocking 4.5. If you have certain health conditions that depend on tap water close to neutral pH, this news can be distressing. Hatty wrote several emails actually recommending things I could do. I don't care what the product is, I would buy it from this seller before considering another source. This is extraordinary customer service and care that you never see for an online product. Thank you, Hatty, and I truly wish you the best in your business.

These Nurse Hatty pH test strips keep indicating my aquarium water is balanced at 7.0My Tetra 6-in-1 Test Strips keep indicating my aquarium water is Alkaline at 7.8I'm going to head to my local pet shop tomorrow with a water sample along with these test strips.I will update my review as soon as I find out what's what.I might ask Amazon for a refund if need be.

Perfect! I was going to purchase test strips that were advertised for use with dogs. After doing a bit of research, I realized there was no need to pay more money for a lower quantity of strips based solely on packaging. PH test strips are pH test strips whether or not there is a dog on the container. The longer sticks make it easier to get a sample from my little dog, which is an added bonus!

I have used many different brands of pH strips. Many have multiple pads to look at and interpret the results which often conflict with each other. It is very frustrating when one pad is a color that would indicate one end of the spectrum and the other is totally opposite. These single pad strips work. I am very happy with them.

Nurse Hatty strips work perfectly. I bought them because my Vet needed me to check my dog’s urine, so I used my own as a control LOL. My urine is alkaline (I’m vegan, so this makes complete sense). Our goal was to get my dog’s urine down to 6 or less (so acidic) to prevent UTIs. Once we figured out her diet, I was able to watch her urine strip go from more alkaline to more acidic. And that’s how I know they work. Plus, if you ever have questions, Nurse Hatty herself will be there for you!

Plain textThe package insert says to do these 3 tests upon arrival:white vinegar should be ph5.0,cow's milk (6.0) anddiluted baking soda with water (8.0).The tests were all confirmed so I know the strips are accurate for my water and urine tests.My tap water was acidic and store-bought was 6.0. Accurate for urine as well, which was acidic. I know I need to eat better (I like my sugar too much).

As many other reviewers have written, these strips give a very acid reading (ph 5.5ish) for tap water. I used them on three different bottled waters (different water sources) with the same acidic (pH 5.5ish) result. I am sending them back. The company should disclose that.

This is my second order of the Nurse Hatty PH Strips and I love them. I use them in the morning to help me determine my diet. I also use them for my dog Peanut! These strips are easy to read with the nice large scale on the bottle and are accurate! My Doctor even asked me which strips I’m using so she can recommend them to her other patients!!! She was so impressed with how well I was doing using these strips to keep me in balance. Great product!!
