So the first thing is I do think that this is a bit expensive, but with that said these are the qualities that I love:*It's easy to grab daily meds on the go and stick in my bag.*I also like that it has 4 compartments per day, this is important because not all meds can be taken together because of possible interactions or certain meds are taken multiple times per day*I like how I can see from a glance that my pill organizer will have to be filled soon because of the red vs green labeling and this allows me to plan ahead.I've had this kind of pill organizer from this same company in the regular size and yes after a couple of years the numbers do fade and wear off, but I have experienced this with other planners as well.The larger compartments allow for larger pills like multi vitamins, fish oil... If you take a lot of pills and they aren't all small the larger pill organizer would be a better choice so you aren't trying to make them all fit via stacking pills in each compartment.Some of the compartments are a little difficult to open, but after a while it gets a little looser with use and works well.I usually start looking to possibly replace this same organizer after about 5-6 years because of faded paint or a few compartments are a little loose when I snap them closed.Hope this information helps.

I own 2 of the low profile medcenters and the Medcenter 31 day system. I've had the latter for 3 years and I love it but this one is even better because it's more compact, not as tall but still allows you to organize your pills for a whole month so that you don't have to focus on sorting pills every day or every week. Also, much like the Medcenter 31 Day system, this one also allows you to see exactly how many days of pills you have loaded into the pill containers from a distance AND if an elderly person can't remember if they took their pills, the containers are see through so all they have to do is look at the container to know if they've already taken their pills and that's definitely a time saver! Also, regarding wear and tear, I had the 31 day system for 2.5 years before I had to replace any of these pill containers and that was with constant handling. Even when I had to replace them, they cost so little that I seriously didn't mind. It's a great way to both make sure that the elderly are taking their meds the way they are supposed yet give them the independence that many of them crave to continue to do certain things for themselves!

Overall we are very pleased with these. My husband finds it much easier to keep track of his daily pills which he takes at different times. It is easy for me to check that he has taken his pills. It asks a while once a month to fill but then I am done and he can take the meds as needed.

I do love that you can keep an entire months worth of medication in this container. The individual days of the week can be taken out for traveling. So if you’re only traveling a couple of days or even a week, you just take those containers with you. My only issue and this really is not a big issue for me, is that when getting ready to fill the containers with medication, some of the containers are very hard to open. But that’s a good thing though too because you know that your medication will not fall out. I do recommend this if you’re good about keeping track of when to order more medication because you won’t have that bottle to go buy that you’re normally used to using every day to take medicine.

I waited to write a review til I had used it several months (5 or 6 I think). The compartments snap firmly closed. But if you have hand issues like me, you may need something to pry some open at first. Most did loosen a bit so they weren't as hard to open, but they still close securely.You can easily fit quite a few large pills like 800 mg ibuprofen & lots of small pills.Not good for extended travel due to size of entire system, but great if you need to take only a few of the individual containers. They should not come open in a purse or suitcase, or if dropped.I use morning, noon & night for meds I take TID (3x a day) & the 4th one for supplements.Once you fill the compartments & go to close the lids, fold them all down before snapping any shut. They snap closed so firmly that the first time I had pills jump out of one section while snapping another section closed. So I fold them all down & hold, then snap each section closed.It does take some time to fill them all but to make it a bit quicker I open all sections of each container & lay then out. I fill all sections with one type of pill before moving on to the next bottle.TIP: While it's great to be able to do all my pills for the month, you may want to take a photo of the pill bottle labels if you need information for ordering refills before you dispose off the bottles.Also, containers will NOT fit in tray with numbers upside down, so be aware of that especially with 6 & 9.

Either my brother or I need to fill my dad’s containers for the aides to help him remember his meds. It’s a two hour job so it’s so much easier to fill a month than a week, especially since we don’t live there.This time I got the larger size and it’s perfect for all his meds. The last set lasted five years but were too small. I must say that it does take a few uses before the lids open easily so someone with arthritis might have trouble until they have been used a few times. The writing will eventually wear off, especially if you don’t clean the conditioner after each use.Easily seeing when the green side only had a week left and we need to refill it really helps too. The container easily fits in a purse or bag for travel for the day (or longer.) The entire set fits easily on a shelf. If any pills are missed it’s easy to notice. (That happened when my dad didn’t have aides and took them himself and it helped us to know what was going on with his health and which days he was more likely to miss.)I would definitely recommend these.

Sono io che preparo le medicine per la mia mamma 90enne che non è più in grado di farlo da parecchi anni e mi arrangiavo con soluzioni un po' rudimentali che mi ero inventata io ma che mi richiedevano ore di lavoro. Ora invece con questo sistema risparmio tanto tempo e spazio. Preparare le medicine per un mese consente di organizzarsi per tempo senza rimanere mai senza. Gli astucci giornalieri si riempiono molto velocemente e sono suddivisi in contenitori molto capienti per 4 somministrazioni quotidiane i cui coperchietti hanno una chiusura tenace e sicura (speriamo solo che reggano nel tempo...) Inoltre ogni astuccio ha dimensioni così contenute che si può mettere in tavola vicino al piatto senza che ingombri e si può mettere tranquillamente in borsetta se si prevede di stare a lungo fuori casa. Semplice e geniale anche il sistema della data in verde quando sono pieni mentre a fine giornata si capovolge l'astuccio dalla parte rossa che indica che è vuoto. Così, con un colpo d'occhio, si ha sempre la situazione sotto controllo e il giorno seguente si individua subito la data giusta. Ed è impossibile girarli al contrario sulla base così i numeri rimangono sempre perfettamente allineati.. Il prodotto inoltre è arrivato puntuale nei tempi previsti, imballato impeccabilmente e in condizioni perfette. Sono soddisfattissima, valeva veramente la spesa.
