Great to keep your beard moisturized

I like the product but the scent doesn't last long at all.

Good stuff, but it’s overpriced.

I grew a goatee, so I figured I needed some sort of special grooming (I'm a senior citizen and this was my first goatee). Honestly, I didn't see a benefit in using the balm, and I really didn't care for the smell.

Four stars only because it's more of a cream, than a balm. It's hold is ok depending on your type of beard. I have very dry, thick hair, but overall thinner beard than most. It works great to moisturize the hair itself and leaves a very refreshing sensation afterwords. It has a strong green tea/eucalyptus scent that's very refreshing and helps open up your pours. My favorite balm to use when my beard needs heavy duty moisturizing.

The product holds fairly well, so by definition it does it's job. However, I don't care for the texture. Balm is pasty and a dirty tan color. Had a heavy moisture rich smell of Aloe (like a wet dog washed in Aloe) that was way too much for my taste. Also, I'm an older fella w/lots of bright white in my beard. If you've ever seen old guys w/a nicotine like yellow tinge to their beard/Stache, be advised this product colored my white facial hair that dingy color. It's not permanent, but I couldn't' wait to wash it out. Tried it three different times using varying amounts to be fair, always the same outcome so it found the trashcan after last effort. Also, the top cracked easily (cheap feeling) so throwing it away didn't hurt my feelings.I'm a big fan of Bulldog products as they are animal friendly and use natural ingredients. Their beard oil is fine and I prefer their beard wash/conditioner above all others for a light smelling cleaning conditioner. But this balm is not my favorite. Much prefer Striking Viking beard balm. The Viking smells great and holds well, but is a bit more greasy than Bulldog balm once dry...but I'll take a little greasy-ness over a feeling of coating my beard in wet, tan paste and smelling like I applied it using an Aloe branch. 2 Stars.

Be advised - see uploaded photo. The original balm came in a metal tin and used to be white in color. The recent order came in a glass jar and the product is a yellowish or cream color, definitely not white. It also turns my white beard slightly off white. Also, the seller will not refund or take returns. Maybe better off buying this product in a local store if you can find it, in the white color rather than using an Amazon vendor.

Moistens the heck out of your beard! Good product in that sense. Light to hold for styling stash and shaping beard. Smells nice clean but rustic, lightly scented. Not greasy or goopy. Product is thin like a thick lotion.
