Ultimate Guard Boulder Deck Case 100+ Standard Size Clear, UGD010894

The deck box is Amazing because i can clearly see my commander and the color sleeves i have on them. However I do not like that the box says 100+ cards. I even researched "the proffesors" video about the boulders and other youtuber who reviewed it clearly showing 100 double sleeved commander decks but mine couldn't fit more than about 75double sleeved cards.Sleeves I haveKitana's with KMC clear inner sleeves.

This will be a 2 part review...Part One: For it's intended deck... It's bad. Got it for one of my double sleeved decks. Didn't think the brand would have a huge difference, turns out it does. The deck has Dragon shield sleeves and Dragon Shield Inner sleeves. As you can see it doesn't fit the whole deck. It fits 90 cards that are using Dragon shield sleeves and inner sleeves. That's pretty bad imo. I was getting this as a potential replacement for my Vault X Large deck box which perfectly fits 100 double sleeved cards using Dragon Shield sleeves and Dragon shield inner sleeves.Part 2: The other pictures are of one of my non double sleeved decks. It fits the whole deck in with quite a bit of space. Also not good imo as would lead to leaning. The last picture is of the same deck and 16 tokens (116 cards in total) using again Dragon Shield outer sleeves and a couple of inner sleeves for commander. Fits pretty well. Looks good and would use for this.So overall it's a 1 out of 5 deck box imo. Doesn't fit 100 double sleeved cards unless specifically Ultamate Guard sleeves. Then if single sleeved too much space to have just 100cards in the deck box without worry of cards bending as they lean with so much space.If this fit 100 double sleeved cards using Dragon Shield sleeves, would 100% buy more. The actual box itself is solid. Well designed and looks really solid being see through but it's just really annoying that can't fit 100 double sleeved cards in using Dragon Shields (imo the best card sleeves) but also too much space for a single sleeved 100card deck. Would want to make sure you use a deck that has reasonable number of tokens. If you have a 100card deck and 15 or so sleeved tokens and aren't double sleeving this deck box is FANTASTIC.

Perfect size for double-sleeved commander or a lot of other card games. I've found that using perfect hard inner sleeves in double-sleeved card games with around ~80 cards in the deck makes for a good fit. Just be aware that 100 cards double-sleeved with perfect hards will NOT fit. Or 100 foil cards double-sleeved might also not fit. In that case try an XL deck box.Finally, it you have multiple boulders, try an Arkhive or Treasure Hive for meta-storage, they will fit nicely.
