Stanbroil Propane/Natural Gas Solid Brass Quick Connector Kit 3/8" Male NPT Thread x 3/8" Female NPT Thread

This Stanbroil QD set of fittings is compatible with my existing 3/8" Mr. Heater hoses and QD fittings. (Be aware there are 1/4" QD propane valves out there that are not compatible with this system.)The slip-collar fitting automatically shuts off flow when you disconnect the hose from the supply, much like an air chuck on a compressor hose does.All threads are 3/8" NPT -- the female auto-shutoff QD supply valve and the male end both have female 3/8" NPT threads. The kit comes with a 3/8" x 3/8" dual male coupler. If you want to hook them to a hose, you'll likely need to buy 3/8" NPT to 3/8" flare fittings.Only things lacking are the soft plastic dust plug and protective cap that come with the Mr. Heater system to protect the sensitive mating surfaces when not coupled and in use. Don't bang the brass against anything or you might nick some edges and possibly have a leak.

On the Male quick connect side, the female pipe end cracked after a few weeks. The wall thickness was just too thin. Update

Just what I needed for converting my LP smoker to natural gas, well made God quality product.

Works well, but didn’t include the rubber protective plug, only the fittings. I really needed the protective plug, because of the location of this fitting when not in use. As I said, a little disappointed.

Had a hose with the male part but needed the plug. It's just what I needed.

Great to be able to quickly connect and disconnect a natural gas line from a barbecue grill.

Works well on my generator hoses. Smooth operation, fits snugly, no leaks.
