There were so many choices when I was looking for a puzzle mat. I am happy I chose this one. It is the perfect size, quality made, and easy to maneuver. The plastic cover fits perfectly, fits snug yet is soft and pliable for easy on/off. The puzzle piece trays are a great design. Just fold up the corners and snap them together. Ample room to sort puzzle pieces and tall enough to keep them contained. Very happy with the purchase.

Fits most puzzles that I've done that are 1000 pieces. The cover keeps the puzzle pieces on the board and helps when animals, like my cat, knock over the board. Sturdy enough that I can carry the board around and the little trays are nice when it comes to sorting. Definitely worth the money to keep my puzzles from getting ruined while working on them. Easy to store in places like under the bed or in closet when not using it.

I bought this to keep my puzzle safe from my cats and it is working well! It sits nicely on my desk and the cover is secure but not so tight that it’s hard to put in and take off. The puzzle piece sorters are not easy to use, but the board itself is great.

I bought this for my parents for Christmas. They love puzzles and cats. Those two things don't mix well. This is the perfect solution. They said it works great and stores away easily. Would recommend!

The cover works great to keep pieces in place when not working on the puzzle. The board is big enough to hold 1000 pieces. The pieces do not move easily when placed on the board which is good and not so good. The not so good is that I have to redo some I put down to get others to fit in right. The pieces don't just slide. Not a big deal really because I would recommend this puzzle board to others and I would buy again.

This was so good for my son and I’s first 1000 piece puzzle together. I don’t know how I would’ve survived without the separators. The cover fits perfect and we can’t wait to finish this puzzle.

I've now received two of these boards and both were damaged; the first one appeared to have been used and had a chunk missing, and the second one had gotten folded in transit, causing a permanent crease where the board inside had been folded or possibly cracked (not sure what the material inside is). The second one was also missing the four sorting containers that are supposed to be included. Before returning the first one for a replacement I assembled a 1,000-piece puzzle on it to make sure I wanted a replacement instead of a refund.The mat has a velvety surface which is great for keeping pieces in place when you're storing an in-progress puzzle, but also makes moving the pieces a little tougher when assembling. The fabric also is slightly loose, so it can bunch up a teeny bit toward the center of the puzzle, but it's only slightly so you otherwise probably won't notice. The cover is fantastic, and I love that I can attach/detach on the corners while working on the puzzle to keep different parts of the puzzle covered and away from interference from the cat. It's a sturdy, durable cover and even as my cat has walked all over it there are no marks from the cat's claws. I also like that the sorting containers fold down flat for easy storage.It's too bad that Amazon won't allow another exchange, because this is a good puzzle board and I would like to have one that isn't damaged. If exchanging items or having to return/re-purchase until you get one that isn't damaged doesn't bother you, then this puzzle board is a good one. But be aware that it may be a gamble or a hassle to get one that's actually in good condition, and it seems like luck of draw if you'll actually receive the sorting containers.

The felt sorting trays seemed like a brilliant idea, but I can already tell after only a single puzzle that the snaps are going to come apart if I try to unsnap them. If I don't return this, I'll have to resort to sewing the corners together permanently.The cover also seems clever and may be useful if you have cats. I don't so it's more hassle than it's worth to put the cover on than it's worth because you have to slightly bend the board to get the corners of the cover. This messes up the puzzle and you have to fix it too much when you resume.The board did not arrive flat, it was slightly bent and won't stay flat when I try to fix it. Also...worse...the material on the working side is too big for the board, causing bubble-like areas that will not lay flat. This makes it impossible to put together a puzzle on it. It's like trying to put a puzzle together on a bed.I thought I'd love this but the working surface is not flat so I have to return it. I do not recommend this puzzle board. Get a solid one instead, lesson learned.
