ResMed Swift FX Bella Headgear Loops
I have a small face and had many masks that didn’t fit until I found the ResMed Swift FX for Her Ear Loops. I need x-small nasal pillows and I buy just the ear loops through Amazon due to the silicone stretching out. I’ve suffered with a sore ear until I discovered that I could line the back of my sore ear with a little part of a cotton ball. I have solved the sore ear issue and am sleeping all night w/o any wake ups. I highly suggest trying the little strip of cotton to protect your skin if you need a solution. I’m never switching masks because this one does the job for me.

If you're tired of "hat hair" all day and you have a small face, this is where it's AT!
I've been using Bella Loops for approximately 3 years. They are fantastic!I have a small face on a normal head that a mask never fit well, then I tried the Swift for Her nasal pillows. Much better seal and breathing treatment ..... But I still couldn't get the headgear to stay in the right place on my small face without ratcheting it down super-tight so that I had strap marks on my face until noon every day and hat hair contstantly (same as all other headgear)! Even hot water washes in the morning didn't get rid of my permanent hat hair :-( The hat hair was so severe, I cut all my hair off in the back and tackled the top with a hot iron every morning for *some* correction ....Enter Bella Loops approximately three years ago! This keeps my nasal pillows in the correct place, sealed, and no more hat hair or strap marks!! Seriously, try them if you use nasal pillows.Yes, this particular batch the Loops were stiffer than previous Loops I've purchased, and I wonder if their origin of Australia has something do with it. Are they old? Are they made out of a slightly different material? No matter. As another reviewer mentioned, in 2 or 3 days, they softened right up.Tips for Bella Loop Use:- DO make sure the straps are FLAT around your ears and on your face. This is hugely important.- DO replace your Loops as they stretch out from use. When they stretch out too much, they become thinner and eventually begin biting into the skin behind your ears because they're TOO thin. I find that as the straps stretch out too much, I have to tighten them as tight as they'll go. Then I begin getting light strap marks on my cheeks that fade in an hour after waking. Approximately a week after the strap marks begin to appear, the loops begin biting into the skin on the back of my ears. If I replace them as soon as I see a strap mark, no problems!- DO find a way to anchor your hose, preferably somewhere above your head. I have my hose zip-tied to a slat on my blinds 12" above my laying down position because (1) I don't have a headboard and (2) I move around a lot when I sleep and (3) your hose needs to be anchored if the combination of Swift nasal pillows and Bella Loops are going to work for you. All the videos and literature tell us to anchor our hose and show us hoses that are anchored, but we don't anchor our hoses because it's inconvenient or not necessary or looks stupid or whatever. Let me comment here that my zip-tied hose on a blind slat looks no worse that my BiPAP and hoses next to the bed and on the bed and my pillows/loops on my head .... And it IS VERY NECESSARY, and will give you better sleep once completed. Anchor your hose!- DO remember that strap marks that don't fade to gone within an hour of walking or are painful at any time is a sign that something is WRONG. You have a crappy fit either of mask/pillows or headgear/loops or both, which likely means you're not using the mask/pillows/headgear/loops combination most appropriate for YOU. My experience with respiratory therapists (RTs) and medical device/supply companies is that they don't carry the breadth of possibilities available. I had to research nasal pillows for myself and beat a drum to get them instead of yet another mask that wouldn't work, then I had to research these Loops and buy them myself to try them. Only then did I have a solution that fit both my small face and child-sized nostrils. Keep searching, keep looking, keep trying, and change suppliers/RTs if you have to.All in All: Bella Loops + Swft FX (or Swift FX for Her) Nasal Pillows = Win for small faces, people who are tired of constant hat hair, and people who are having trouble being fitted with normal headgear. Also inexpensive to replace, unlike pretty much every other headgear on earth.

No mask!
I love the straps that go around the ears and hold my nasal pillow in place. I cannot use a mask for my cPAP as I am claustrophobic. My only complaint is that they stretch out pretty fast and have to be replaced often. The material is very flexible, soft and fairly comfortable though; so I don't mind the down side. The only thing I could ask for is some sort of fabric sleeve to slide on where it goes behind the ears. That would make it a little more comfortable on ears.

One Great Invention!
These are much easier than having full head-gear! I'm a large woman, but apparently I'm supposed to be very small. I have small ears and a small nose, so sometimes these want to come off and at other times (depending on how I've got my head) they hurt my ears. Now ask me if I would stop using them. NO WAY!

Doesn't work for me
Nasal pillows, together with the hose, are too heavy for this headgear. My ears really hurt when I wake up in the morning. I was looking for something that wouldn't smash down my hair, but this isn't working. I had to switch back to my old standby.

Solves one problem but created another
I ordered this behind the ear headgear after noticing significant breakage of my hair from my previous one that went across my head. Its not comfortable and I have a hard time keeping the nasal pillows in place, in addition it hurts my ears. With that said, I'm willing to make the sacrifice and stick it out a few months in order to allow the broken hair to grow out some. Not sure what my next move will be, but for now this is the best option I have found to protect my hair (bonnets and the like have not worked for me).

Stops Hair Breakage Caused from Using Other CPAP Headgear
I like the earloops instead of the other CPAP headgear which was breaking off the hair at the back of my head. I wish there were earloops for the nasal cushion rather than the nasal pillows but they work great with the pillows.

Great alternative to traditional mastk and head gear
I have used Cpap for twenty years and have tried most systems and this is by far the best for me. I sleep on my back with the tubing on my chest and do not move much so it stays in place well. If you move much you might have some trouble keeping a seal because does not fit as tight as other systems.Once I got the straps adjusted correctly I did not have any soreness on my ears and it does not leave marks on my face.I was having some hair loss from straps from other systems rubbling on my head. I no longer have to worry about this.It is very simple to wash. The price I paid through Amazon was significantly less that what my coinsurance would have been if I had gone through my usual medical supply company. (not really sure how that's possible)This is not going to work for everyone but if you are like me and do not move much during sleep it may be great for you.
