Amazon Echo Show 5 (2nd Gen, Blue) Combo with Mi LED smart color bulb

This device looks appealing but when it comes to performance, it’s a disaster….It has voice recognition issue, plays unwanted playlist, stop and resume on its own.. at times it device hangs and create chaos…Having a difficult time to navigate and use…Making the overall experience obnoxious.Better go for echo speaker than this one

No response 70% of time. Wrong answers 50% of time. Amazon Alexa needs to learn a lot. I feel Google dot is better than this.

I don't know why but I find this Echo Show 5 has some hearing issues. I have to call Alexa more than once or twice for it to start listening. I have an Echo Show 8 at home, had an Echo Dot 3rd Generation too. I never had an issue with those versions. Echo Show 8 listens even if I speak very slowly. But Echo Show 5 is a big bummer in that regard. Most of the day I have to reiterate my sentences, and it becomes frustrating. It is like having an old granny with a hearing problem.Some features like Facebook, or web browser can't be used on this product, because of the screen size. The screen size is small, and not good for browsing. Videos work fine here though, but then again you would rather play videos on a mobile phone or a TV than play it here.I mostly use this Alexa for listening to music, alarms, reminders and for video calling my Echo Show 8 at home. Also, the connectivity with other wireless devices work like a charm, like bulbs and sockets.Overall a good investment, but if I had known the hearing issue upfront I would have gone for Echo Show 8 instead.

Keeps disconnecting from wifi automatically...Useless
