FenixHM70R 1600 Lumen Rechargeable White/red LED Headlamp with EdisonBright Battery Carrying case Bundle

Awesome headlamp is all I can say. Superior beam at its highest output with a 21700 battery. Easy on/off and mode switch. I would definitely buy again for a second backup. After 15 years of being a Fenix brand customer I have to say it does not disappoint. Those of you that are hesitant you will not regret it.

Open the thing up. Pull the tab that isolates the battery. Nothing. I put a usb cable on it. It blinks red, then green as to indicate it's fully charged. That's a lie, it had no charge but it's indicating it's full. I'm putting their battery on their fancy charger to see if that fixes the problem.I'm not impressed with this high dollar brand, for what i paid I shouldn't be here complaining right out of the box. Do better people.Edit. I got it to light up at last, but I am highly disappointed in the 'red light' feature on it. They say it has three settings of low, medium and high. This is a fraud as the only red light is the low, they give you two more medium and high, but they are just regular LED. They've already got a main LED so why would you want your red light to switch to regular LED. Why put a another LED in with the red unless it's to fraud you for three settings of red? No, red medium isn't RED it's white and the high setting is white.I contrast this to a cheaper version and the thing has a red light that was blasts out there big time with three settings. So why is this thing such a rip for the price. They could have put a proper red light in this but they didn't. This brand is now official dead to me.Edit: I have yet to get any satisfaction from anything related to this. Where's the UPS label I was promised for returning it? Hmm? This summer sometime? Keep it. I threw this piece of junk on the table and it jarred some short in it into working. It periodically works if I bang on it. I needed it badly the other night as my dog alerted to something going on outside. I reached for this headlamp because I needed something very bright. I had to stop to monkey with it to get it to work. Critical time lost and there was nothing to be seen by the time I got outside. I about walked out back and destroyed it right there for such failure. But I would have been in the darkness. It's better to walk with an expensive piece of junk than to curse the darkness.It will be a cold day in a very hot place before I spend another dime concerning this. I am fin.

The battery life it was good for 2 days in regular use, and heavy (you can really noticed for long periods of use.)
