REED 3mm 15yard Genuine Leather Cord Braiding Lace Strings for Leather Crafts and Jewelry Making of Necklaces, Bracelets (3 mm) 15 yd, Black/Brown/Dark Brown

I ordered the REED Leather cords - black, brown, and dark brown round 1.5mm, and the the flat 5mm. First off, excellent quality!!! The sturdiness of the leather and ease of working with it was great (I used them to make bracelets and necklaces). I really liked that the leather was very strong, yet very easy to use and bendable - not stiff. Great quality for jewelry making. The colors were also very rich - very nice - and not "washed out" like some other leather. They delivered on time and CARE about customer satisfaction. In fact, I did accidentally did not get the correct order at first and they rectified that issue IMMEDIATELY - and I like to work with companies that not only sell great products at great prices, but also have excellent customer service. When I need to buy leather, I will buy from them :)

Very nice. The pigment coating is thick enough to seal the fuzzy parts on the cut edges, making for a clean strip to work with. There are a few flaws, as in any natural leather, but fewer than I saw in the pic, and overall the quality is excellent. Colors are nice, the brown dark, the "red" a rich rust color. It is stiff in texture. Good value for the price.

Great that it has three colors, great cording, very sturdy for making bracelets, necklaces. Make sure you buy big enough cord ends, or the ends will not all stay in, around 4mm. But I really do love this cording, especially for a necklace for my godmother in her 80s who adores red in jewelry, but very simple and lightweight designs. I was able to make a very simple necklace with just a few lightweight beads. and silver focal pieces. Thank you.

Real leather but the edges of the black lace is rough and not finished like the red and brown. Since the leather isn't dyed through, I can't attempt to smooth the edges without ruining the finish. The red also has an area where the dye is uneven and looks painted because the natural leather is showing through the red color.

The first order I received had a slash in the red cord. I thought it might be a fluke, so I bought another set (silly me!). The red leather cord in the second lot broke immediately (it separated on a slant - as if it had also been slashed in some weird fashion). So, now I have two orders of leather cord that I can't even use for shoelaces, much less for anything else. Shame on you, Reed, and shame on me for buying an inferior product twice.

Like the multi colors. Delivered on time.

Not as strong as I had hoped for, but good for jewelry.

The cords were just as described and were delivered in a timely manner as promised.
