When I recieved the comforter the tag that has the material content was cut mostly off except for the part that says by law it is not to be removed except by the consumer and that the fill is a "minimum 75% down". I contacted the seller and got this response:"We buy some of these in a lots at auctions from overseas vendors that manufacture these sets for specific merchants. For whatever reason when these merchants decides not to take the order (financial, etc), they sell them in lots to folks like us at discount price. Because they were originally created for a specific merchant they may have some advertising on the tag specific to the merchant which was probably taken off. Because we buy in lots, we are able to sell them at so low prices compared to outside. However, the important thing will still be intact on the tag (which is basically about the filling. That is why we are able to sell them for low costs to our customers compared to retail stores where the same thing will be 2 to 3 times more.Nevertheless, the down comforter itself is absolutely gorgeous and will keep you warm. Yes, the min down is 75% because by law it has to be written that way. However, if you look and feel the comforter, it is very nice and wroth the $.If you are still not satisfied, I am willing to issue you full refund and send you a prepaid label to receive the comforter back. So, please let me know if there is anything else I can do & I will work with you to your satisfaction.Thanks,Syed"I am not sure what to think because they claim the product was made in Italy but how do they know if the tags are missing? Also, how do they know that it is 100% down or 800TC without the tag and they are essentialy buying them second hand? Also I have 400 thread count sheets that feel smoother than this comforter that is supposed to be 800 thread count. Also the duvet that I ordered from this same company is 600 TC and feels smoother. Of course there is no way to know what the TC realy is if it is indeed less than the stated 800 TC that they advertised and there is no way to know if it is truly 100% down with the tag missing. I will keep this item as the price was low and it does seem to be of decent quality and I think it should last a long time. However, I will not purchase from this company again as the whole thing sounds very shady and there is no disclosure before you buy that they are second hand. I would return the item if it were not such a hastle. If there are any further issues I will report them here.

I ordered several of these comforters because they were unbelievably cheap if they were indeed Hungarian goose down. However, when they arrived, their labels were cut off so I had no idea what I was getting. Then on one of them, it actually said Siberian goose down on the plastic cover which obviously is not what I had paid for. I brought this to the vendor's attention and he said it was the shipper's fault or something along that line. But I found the whole situation dodgy and ended up returning all of them for a full refund. To his credit, the vendor was very cooperative but still, something about the missing labels just wasn't right. I'm also glad I had bought through Amazon because I think that made the difference on how the refund was handled.

i have had several down comforters of one sort or another and never have i beem happy. something was always lacking. i finally got it right. i have had this for about a week and love and i do mean love it. down stays inplace, flips back easily so i can get in and out of bed, it is september here in los angeles and it keeps me at a constant comfort neither to hot or to cold. so i do recommend it and would buy it again and i would give as a gift.
