Prime Mechanical Pencils, 0.7 mm, Medium Point, Assorted Barrel Colors, Pack Of 6

These mechanical pencils are not at all durable. 5 out of 12 were defective.I had a pair of Pentel mechanical pencils I bought 15 years ago, and have used daily at work since then. One finally wore out altogether, grip cracked, and just jammed up and I couldn't clear it. The other got dropped on a concrete floor, point down and was bent so it stopped working. Still, 15 years was pretty good service.I bought this box of 12 thinking they'd be good, and I had a stash of leads and erasers to fit.1 of them simply won't advance the head out, one broke when advancing the lead - it broke right through to plastic near the tip, another one, the plastic near the tip simply broke, and 5 of them in the box had no plastic part near the tip at all so were unusable.I give up, going to buy another brand. These were disappointing and useless.

These are great. Feel really good in your hand. Great for drawing.

Pentel is the best at making high quality, comfortable writing, sleek looking mechanical pencils. I have found the one and the only pencil I will ever use again!

It is an adequate pencil. Frankly it is the pencil I buy because my puppy likes to chew and I need lots. This is the best one for the money.

I have found these mechanical pencils helpful for student who need a built-up grip during handwriting. I bought them for myself but found myself buying more and more for my students as they've started taking them from me!
