The beard shaping tool arrived promptly, it looks well made and smells even better. Beyond that, it does function as a comb. I will have to update later regarding how it works as it’s a gift for my handsome bearded man. I have an inkling that it’ll work perfectly and be much better for his skin than the stainless steel variety of beard shaping tool. I do wish it had come with some basic care instructions for the wood. Luckily I have this thing, called the internet, and surely there’s at least one blog on caring for wooden combs. Did I mention how wonderful it smells? Mmmmm.....like a man should......

It is very solidly built and don't have to worry about the product snapping or breaking. Feels very smooth when you use it to line up your beard. It has dramatically cut down my time on shaping my beard on the side and my neck. I was very impressed with the results along with my wife (the reason I have the beard). The only thing that would be peculiar is it gives off a sandalwood smell that some might not fine pleasing. I like the smell and would definitely recommend this to anybody just looking to shape their beards. This alone has saved me money from having to go to the barber to line it up. It has already paid for itself with that fact alone.

I loved this thing since the day I got it. It has that pleasant aroma, and glides through my beard right after a shower or out and about perfectly. I had thought about rating this earlier, but then one day the end of the comb just...snapped. I did not treat this item aggressively, nor do i have problems with tangles. I am not sure if a hairline crack was present when I bought it, but sadly my comb is no more :( I would love to rate this 5 stars, but my experience changed quite abruptly.

Very cool concept. Material is quality and strong. Only downside is I understand how to shape the "cheek line" using the comb, maybe it's just me, but I don't understand how the comb helps shape the "jawline" or "neckline" based on directions.

I bought this for my college age son who needed some grooming assistance with his new beard. He has really loved how this has helped him make his beard look so much better without having to go to the barber everytime.

This is a very useful shaping beard tool. If you going to use it just make sure you trim the whole beared becuae if your bears hair is long it will be harder to make a line.

Big fan of this tool. It looks like it was crafted very well with smooth edges and well-defined comb teeth (blades, whatev). I bought this specifically to help me trim the hairline on my cheeks. Winging it like I've been doing hasn't often worked out so it's nice to have something that can give me a symmetrical cut. It also has a great scent.
