Durable
Cut down two maple trees this winter and bought this axe to split them into firewood. Very happy with the feel and ease of handling the axe. It split the chunks with far less effort than expected. Construction seems very durable but will know better by the end of the end of the summer. I have a truck load of logs arrive the first of June. I will be busy this summer. I'm 72 and couldn't be happier with the performance of this axe.

Fantastic value
This is simply the best splitting axe I’ve ever used. Impressive quality for the price. Would 100% buy again. Actually bought a second axe for my best friend after seeing how envious he was when I split wood with ease. Haha

Injury Machine
This is garbage. I split wood with anything but doing so for a bit with this monstrosity resulted in severe pain in the bones of my hand and thumb which I felt for about 3 -4 weeks.
