HOW DO YOU END A BOOK THAT WAY?! 😭 HOW?!?!?!?! I am RUINED! Thank god I waited until this series was completed to start because THAT was just rude 😭 I'm definitely donating to the Twisted Sister's inspiration jar 😭 on to book 5! If the sun rises tomorrow, we'll watch it together 🖤💔

I love this series but Shawn is getting old. The Harlequins can’t be that nieve if they’re supposed to be leaders of a gang to fall for Shawn’s crap. He should have been dead and buried last book and moved on to another villain. Uggg, I want to gut him. Yes, the twisted sisters have me twisted again…Damn them 😊

Great book!This is a great series! I will definitely continue to read the rest of the series! It is definitely a heart grabber!

Back in Sunset Cove … These characters have rooted themselves in my heart and soul - whether I’m laughing with them, crying for them, or cursing at them. I fell hard and fast for each of the main characters in the prequel novella to the series and have only fallen harder since. I love love love the growth for these characters and there’s so much of that in this book ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Book 4 picks up right where the last book ended and works through that aftermath. It’s packed full of drama, action, hurt and hope, additional secrets are uncovered, and the heat cranks up several notches too. The pacing felt really good, and I looooved seeing these characters finding strength and healing in each other and reforging their bonds for who they are now, in all of their perfect imperfections. I have so many favorite moments in this book, especially between the four guys when they let down their walls and show raw truths and emotions, when they let themselves lean into the strength, acceptance, and love of each other. 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤“...And we’d build something beautiful from the ruins of our past, something unbreakable.”The Multi-POV gave me a deeper understanding and connection with the main characters. I continue to feel a lot of empathy for the main characters, even when they royally mess up. Each has their own pain, fears, dreams, insecurities … I love broken characters who find strength and healing in each other and fit perfectly, in their own way. These characters have quite the journey to go through. For better or worse, there are some hard lessons to be learned, and some of their trials are quite agonizing. I'm confident that they will come out stronger on the other side - to be who they need to be for themselves and to fight for each other, even when that's with each other, and reforge their bonds with each other -- which is exactly what we start to see in Paradise Lagoon. The emotional rollercoaster that this story takes you on is gnarly - which if you've read other co-writes by these authors, should be no surprise - and I fully expect rough waters ahead, for both readers and the characters, on their way to finding their HEA in the next book, Gallows Bridge, which is set to be the final book for this series. It won't be all sunshine and rainbows, but it will be Ahhhhh-MAZING ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“Always and forever. It’s just you guys. No one less and no one else.”There's also fantastic cameos and nods to other series that these authors weave in so well. 🦑🕷There's a cruel cliffhanger (but of course there is 😵) but I would not wait to fall in love with these characters and have your hearts ripped out alongside them 💔 I'm trusting the authors to make us whole by the end ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Attempting to give me a heart attack I swear. This book? These characters? I cannot even. The way they write these exciting, horrific endings are going to be the death of me.

Everytime I get to the ending of one of these books I can feel my heart breaking before anything is really happening because I just know that it's going to break by the last page.

Things are getting even crazier in the Cove and while the sun may be shining, the bodies are piling up. I’ve been dying since the last book and have been going crazy waiting for this one. My friend had to force me to put it down while out apartment hunting. My emotions were at an all-time high reading this. So many feelings happening at once I wasn’t sure my poor heart could handle it.The story picks up after that heart-wrenching cliffhanger in the last book. Right away there is so much happening. Rogue is gone and the guys all think she betrayed them. We get to see more of the guy’s emotions and how they were feeling after everything that has happened in the past and present. We get a good amount of rekindling this book. Old relationships get rebuilt and you can see the love shine through. I think I fall in love with Rogue more every book. She is such a strong person, but also so vulnerable due to her past. I’m happy about all the opening up that happened between her and the guys. Of course, this book wasn’t all happy times. There are a lot of doubts, insecurities, and pain. Throw in the drama with Shawn and the Cartel and you are booking yourself a manic therapy session. I’m not kidding when I say this book is extreme. The violence, the twists, and the steam are off the charts. There are some secrets we find out and new information that I’m sure will play an important part in the next book.Tatum and Saint make an appearance which is always a highlight but I’m overjoyed that my favorite character Brooklyn made an appearance. I truly love her and Fox’s interaction. Had me laughing so loud I’m sure people thought I was crazy. Of course, it wouldn’t be an evil duo’s book without an ending that leaves you feeling like you’ve been smacked in the face with a heavy-weighted ball. I always prepare myself for the worst, but somehow these girls are able to come up with such evil that I can’t even imagine it. Now I’ll be sitting in pain until the next one, but it’s worth it because my boy Jake finally got his beloved jellybeans! Though he needs a new bag or two after what happened to them. *evil side eye*

Now this fourth installment is a wild ride, we get to see this group slowly start piecing together, one by two by three, hehe. But that ending, that ending is so edge of you pants WTAF?!?!?!! Like seriously can't this group catch a break? Oh and my vehement hatred of Shawn is beyond measure. Give me the next because I swear if this crew doesn't get a HEA I'll scream 😉

Wow! What a ride! Rogue left a video saying she no longer cares for the Harlequins and that she had gone back to Shawn. That was all a lie to protect them. She wanted to sacrifice herself for them. When she finally returns, it takes a while for them to forgive her. Chase lost an eye under the sadistic capture and torture of Shawn. She is struggling to come to terms with his he now looks and prefers to wear an eyepatch. Everyone tries to tell him they don't care about his scars but he won't listen. This instalment is full of heartache. Hot read.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The sisters have done it again, I’m reeling from everything I’ve just read and honestly am not sure I can even put in to words the journey Paradise Lagoon took me on.I’m keeping my review spoiler free as always because honestly, you need to dive straight in and no doubt if you’re here from just finishing the hella cliffhanger from Carnival Hill that’s what you’re going to do anyway!One of the things that stood out for me the most in this book was the amount of character development every single one went on throughout this book. Rogue, Fox, JJ, Chase and Maverick finally were honest with themselves and with each other about how they are feeling about their relationships, each other and their future.The honesty the guys shared with Rogue about how they feel about her honestly gave me goosebumps and I found myself highlighting quotes all over the place, so many have stuck in my mind!I loved the crossovers once again from our favourite night keepers and laughed out loud a lot. That’s another thing I love about Caroline and Susanne is that yes this book dipped in to a lot of darker places, but also a lot of light was shared and love could be felt too.Now the ending I’m still wrapping my head around, I knew something was coming because hello they are the queen of cliffhangers but alas I still wasn’t prepared! Absolutely fantastic and I cannot wait for the final book Gallows Bridge!

Book 4 ❤️ I've just finished this book and its taken me a quite a few moments to gather myself I'm emotionally drained and need to process on where do I begin.Rogue and the boys are still coming to terms with the new dynamic of the relationship with some of the misunderstandings being forgiven, whilst others are causing more heartbreak .New secrets come to light ,which leaves our fearless crew in a sticky situation .I absolutely love the authors style of writing ,plot is superb it keeps the fast paced anxiety ridden of "I'm on the emotional rollercoaster" highs and lows never knowing whats gonna gut wrench you next .I'm diving into the last book next and I'm not going to lie , ill be sorry to finish this series as it totally dominated me but I'm so invested in the story i need to see if they get the HEA .Can the Harlequin Crew all survive ?, and will they get it together ?, i really hope so .

Paradise Lagoon begins right where the previous book left, on the edge of your seat screaming noooo. You get to feel the emotions and betrayal the guys are going through, but also get to see some of them start to bond again, which was brilliant to see. As the story develops the group attempts to come together more and try to get through their past. It's a brilliantly written emotional roller-coaster! There are still lots they need to get through, but I absolutely adore Rogue and her trying to own her issues to move forward. Even with all the emotions going on in the book there are still hilarious moments and banter between the characters. A few characters from other series also pop in and the interaction between Brooklyn and Fox is soooo funny its fantastic! Some of the mysteries from the previous books are explained, but with that comes new secrets which I can't wait to discover the answers to in the next book! Shawn is still around causing lots of drama and action. Even though I hate him I do love his POVs in the book! As always with Caroline and Susannes writing the book leaves you on the edge of your seat, desperate for the next one! I really can't wait for the next book, in which I'm hoping for it to all be brought together in a gorgeous HEA!

The sisters have done it again, I don’t know how they write such amazing stories but I’ve loved everything they have written and this addition to the harlequins story has not disappointed. I’ve cried with laughter (who knew coffee pots and doggy cookies could be so funny?!) and balled my eyes out over more than one chapter but loved every second of it.There’s been lots of character growth and so much background information from flashbacks that I feel like we’re really getting to know the characters now and falling in love with them as we do, understanding all the decisions they’ve made in the past that had us all screaming at the pages and flinging our kindles at the wall!After the last cliffhanger I was really struggling to see a way back for Rogue and the guys, thank god for Chase (didn’t think I’d be saying that back in book 2)! I don’t think I’ve ever hated a villain as much as I hate f***in Shawn, I’m really looking forward to his demise and keeping everything crossed for a bloody ending for him!! Now obviously there is one humdinger of a cliffhanger but the sadist in me loves that and I can’t wait to see how we can get to our HEA, they’re always so much sweeter after a bit of heartbreak and months of suspense right??!
