I purchased a Granton knife at a second hand shop in great condition except it needed to be sharpened. The inscription on the blade reads to sharpen with a steel. I did not have one so I ordered your steel. It sharpened the Granton knife very well, it is a size I can easily handle it fits in my kitchen drawer. I put the steel in a plastic sheath to protect it in the drawer.Perfect for my needs. Also gives a nice sharp edge to all my other knives especially those little pary knives.

Good product , just need to learn how to use it.

I actually use this for honing exact-o knives and such. It works great on the small blades. I've never used it on a full size knife but every time I use it on my small cutting tools they cut like new. Really like this for the price.

So far I have sharpened two of my kitchen knives and I'm very satisfied with the result my knife went through a 1 inch thick sirloin steak like butter. Also the price is very good for a descent quality product

i started to use these little butcher's steels i bought for my Children's Bug Out Bags and my Chinese made knives were cutting flat places on my Chinese steels so i'm assuming the steels must Not have been heat treated otherwise How could a knife Cut a steel?

My bad -- I should have read the description -- this was too short for my use. I was looking for a 12" rod (measurement not including the handle), a loop of some kind to hand it, and that it be magnetic.

Magic stick! 😊 I like it very much. I got the smaller size, and use it as a ritual every day!I had other type of sharpners: those with stones, but the stone developed a worn off line and the knives get stuck in it, and rather sharpening, it makes them blunt.I decided to put the fate of my knives in this magic stick, and cannot be happier.Thanks to human evolution of developing basic tools for survival 😊

This sharpener was of poor quality and the handle was really cheaply made, it wasn't worth the price and the so called original price would have bought a high quality German honing steel. I put it in our travel trailer and will still use the old one I have.

Très déçu avec la qualité de cet article. L’outil est arrivé avec la manche dévissée et dans cet état on voit vraiment une fabrication très cheap. Pour moi la valeur de cet article est maximum € 5 - 10. Le niveau de qualité me convient pas du tout à 35 Euros.

Very shiny handle but that's all instead of using this toy rod better use the side of a s/s table it will sharpen better. I used it for a day and gave it to a college after a week he left it on my table, I chuked it in the garbage its a round metal that's all

Arrived quickly and sharped knives as expected but a bit disappointed that the handle was loose straight out of the box.
