I bought this for my wife last June. Happy to say it worked great on two different 6 hour drives. It was the first time she hadn’t got car sick in years. She loved it and took excellent care of it, stored it in original box when not in use. The battery charger cord is very short and problematic and is in need of a redesign. Last week she took it out of the box and charged it overnight before a long trip. Product showed a full charge but would not turn on and seemed to be completely dead. No lights or functions at all. On the return trip it was the same story. Double checked that it was charging overnight but product would not turn on and appeared to be completely dead. Not sure if the battery is replaceable. Very unfortunate because it legitimately worked great, but is too expensive to buy another one if the battery lasts less than 1 year

How could an organisation advertise for chemotherapy suffers and then put the must difficult , useless, non gripping clip? It keeps slipping taking the tension and make its use a pain.As for the actual devise, it seems incredible. I am 9 months into intensive chemo, and suddenly had a massive attack of side symptoms. To save the nausea I was told to buy a veal sea band. I bought this and amazingly after 9 months I have maybe 50% taste back and the other symptoms have abated.A brillant device is my early synopsis but the wrist band is annoying. It would be wonderful to give ful 5 stars. As for travel I haven’t done any, but would hope my experience of a life changing day to day existence works for others.

I was so sceptical about this, I hovered over the buy now button for days and as my morning sickness has been getting worse, day by day, and totally disrupting my mood, sleep and eating habits, I took the plunge! I eagerly watched the amazon delivery driver on the map and couldn't wait for just a fraction of relief. Annoyingly, I had to charge it for 1.5 hours first but after about 30 mins of wearing it, I was actually feeling like I could tackle the evening and didn't feel the need to constantly snack or a cracker or suck a sweet to hold back the wretching and nausea feeling. I've had to wear it while I'm asleep as I wake up feeling ill and needing to eat. I've found the lower setting doesn't help as much so I've cranked it up and it's helped again.I wouldn't say the nausea has completely gone but it's only a 2/10 from being an 8/10 which is a lot more manageable.It's a bit fiddly to get tight enough on your wrist and I'd worry about someone trying this with super tiny wrists but I have managed to get a good grip and you could pack it out if you needed to to get the connection.I don't often wrote reviews but I thought that if I could help at least one other person feeling like I was, it was worth it. I know it's expensive but quite frankly, the nausea was effecting so much of my life it will probably save me money in the long run and allow me to carry on, as much as is possible, like normal.

What a Lifesaver,It Works and can highly recommend it

First, let me say that I have used the Reliefband Classic (simpler model) for years & actually really like that version. BUT, if I could give the "premier" model negative stars, I would. I feel like I had $300 stolen from me for how useless this band is.There was absolutely no thought or consideration to how this band was designed for actual customer use, they just made something that looked good on paper. The biggest & glaring error is the shape of the actual band was changed with this model so that it actually doesn't lie flush with the skin as it has a strange oblong shape, which also makes it uncomfortable. Secondly, the clasp doesn't keep the band tight whatsoever, and continually loosens. There is no way to keep it fixed. So, it cannot administer the relief, because it doesn't have good contact with the skin. AND, since it slides around, it isn't making contact with the conductive jelly, which then means it's burning your skin that isn't "lubed up".Even the charging cord is terrible. And, while in concept, a usb cord sounds great...as opposed to changing a watch battery. The magnetic cord doesn't connect well to the band & just falls off constantly because the magnet is so weak. Add to that... the cord is 3 inches long so you have to precariously position it SO precisely & delicately that any movement whatsoever means it doesn't charge. Talk about ADDED disappointment when it's time to use it only to find out your finicky charging cord didn't actually charge the device. THIS IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.Lastly, when I pointed out these design flaws to customer service in suggestions for a better future design...they insulted me by sending me "how to" tips on making sure you know "how to turn it on" & "making sure it was charged" prior to use. Seeing how the issues aren't how to see if it's charged or how to actually turn it on, customer service was completely useless. I told them their suggestions had nothing to do with my feedback, and they literally said "I apologize, but those are the troubleshooting suggestions we are able to provide for most effective use".I would be better served chewing ginger prior to travel than wasting money on this sham of a product. DO NOT FALL PREY! Throw your money directly into a burning dumpster instead...it will be quicker with less nausea.
