While I've tried various types, most had odd appearances or other significant drawbacks. The Wallys, however, hit the mark with their comfort and good looks, making them ideal for my job as a computer programmer. They're especially beneficial for my tendency to have hot and sweaty feet.They're not without flaws, though. My pair feels a bit loose, and I worry they might slip off if I run. The adjustability is also limited. The cord can be tweaked, but making it too tight creates a pressure point that's uncomfortable. I managed to remedy this by tying an extra knot for a snugger fit. This is a compromise with their loafer style, which might benefit from a more conventional lacing system and possibly a padded tongue.There was a minor issue when they arrived – one shoe had a long tag under the insole that made a clicking sound when I walked, but cutting it out solved the problem.Now, for the positives: The upper part of the shoe is made of a ropey, burlap sack-like material that's surprisingly comfortable. I bought these for my boyfriend at Christmas time, because he wears hey dudes everyday. He has pretty flat arches so these shoes are very comfortable for him since he does not need a lot of arch support. They are soft and comfortable for everyday wear, and the color of this pair does not show dirt as much as others so they look nicer longer. He literally wears all his hey dudes until they have holes in the bottom (he has had 4 pairs already). I recommend these for any men that love a comfortable, relaxed, everyday shoe. They are great deal for the price you pay!

Shoes fit great, true to size. Comfortable, solid support. Great shoe all around, especially for the price.

I have a wide foot and usually wear a 12 or 12.5. The 12 fits better for me than the 13 for these, but while it's pretty comfortable for mild hiking to moderate walking, it pinches enough to cause fatigue if I wear them all day. Adding to the fatigue is that the memory foam inserts are very thin when compared to similar styles from other brands. On the flip side, these are incredibly lightweight and hug my feel well enough to hit up easy-level hiking trails. All in all, I'd definitely recommend these to friends and family, but maybe grab some better insoles for comfort and support.

Hey Dude's are SO light and comfortable! We cruise a lot and notice what seems to be 1/2 the guys on the ship wearing Hey Dude's for their comfort and versatility. Like slippers that look like casual shoes! I bought a pair for each of my 2 brothers and they love them too.

Great shoe and price! Unfortunately, the sizing runs very small. I ordered an 11 and it fits like a 9. :(
