Needs a little oil to adhere to skin, but smooth skin after use.
My skin is smooth after I use in shower. I think a little oil needs to be added to make this scrub cling more to skin as it’s crumbly when applying.

Just a scrub, leaves sling smooth, didn’t see any changes but over all I like the smooth skin.

Just A Scrub
It works fine as an exfoliant, and the scent is like fresh coffee rather than stale, cold coffee, but the amount of oil in it seems to be more suited to very dry skin because it leaves my skin overly oily versus soft or moisturized. I haven't received any benefits as claimed like cellulite, scar, or wrinkle reduction, but it will reduce dead, dry skin.

This was only the second coffee scrub I've done in my life. As before, I'm conflicted. I like the idea of using something natural as an exfoliant, and it certainly is effective. However, this stuff just makes me want coffee. I'm in the shower, trying to get clean, and my mind just goes to coffee. My husband was so confused. He wanted to know why anyone would pay for coffee-impregnated sand, bless him. He wanted to know where the "binders" were. Again, bless him. I had actually gotten a second scrub, and did a side-by-side comparison of how they performed. And yes, I know that's not scientific, as the other scrub was not coffee-based. This stuff works pretty darn good, coffee cravings notwithstanding. There is an oil in it (it says arabica seed oil) that just barely coats the grains of the scrub, but translates beautifully to the skin. This is a nice product to use from time to time. I think I'm just a klutz at this, as I always feel as if I'm using way too much or not enough.
