INGREDIENTS: CRUST: Rice flour, butter, palm oil, potato starch, tapioca starch, sorghum flour, xanthan gum, salt, sugar. Filing: Brown Sugar, Cane Sugar, Whole Eggs, Pecan, Potato Starch, Butter (cream, salt), Half and Half Milk, Sea Salt HEATING INSTRUCTIONS: Freeze or refrigerate pies upon arrival. Remove pies from the plastic and bake as instructed. You can microwave pies in the tin but first remove plastic, do not cover the pie and don’t let it touch walls of the microwave. Microwave for 10 seconds at a time. You can also bake them until desired crisp.

Finally, I can eat pecan pie again!
Pecan pie is one of the things I missed most after I was diagnosed with a wheat/gluten allergy. This pie tastes great, and the Hearthy bakers really got the texture of the crust right, which is always a struggle with gluten-free baked goods. The filling is a bit chewy, like the other reviewer noted, but I think this is a side effect of the microwave process--I plan to experiment to see if I can heat it without overcooking it based on my microwave's wattage.The only reason I gave this product four stars is because I only received six pies when I was under the impression that I had ordered a dozen. I looked at the product description to see if I was mistaken and couldn't find anything anywhere that said how many pies they sent for the $24! (unless i missed it?). Anyway, the seller should make it more clear how many pies they are sending!

Arrived not even chilled and all broken up.
I think they need to reconsider their packaging. The pies are not frozen or anything. Took a week to get to me and they are all broken up. I wonder about the safety of eating them. I have eaten them and did not get sick. They are pretty tasty but are all crumbled.

I had never eaten a gluten free pie before, so I was not sure what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised. Full of pecans, and a somewhat chewy texture. Actually, one of the tastiest pecan pies I have ever had.
