Drinking from my mason jar as I write this review!
This is my own fault, but warning to all who do not read thoroughly - NOT FOR WIDE MOUTH JARS. I had two wide mouth large jars I had intended to use these for, but as soon as the lids/straws arrived I realized my mistake. Luckily our local grocery store sells mason jars in singles and I was able to purchase two.No major complaints, they work as they should (now that I have the correct jars). One lid ring was a bit dented, as others have mentioned, but I have so many jar rings this is not an issue for me. The silicone ring keeps the straw from sliding out when refilling which is nice. After a few weeks I am seeing some rusting on the lid where the hole is cut for the straw. I assume it's because water gets trapped in that area after washing and does not dry properly. I will start taking the silicone ring out when washing/drying to prevent this further. For the price it seems like decent quality, even if the lids continue to rust and become unusable, the straws themselves are worth the price.

***UPDATE AGAIN*** After 2 more days of use, the second rubber gasket tore apart. I will attempt to fix it with hot glue. I'm still using it but it's no longer spill proof. And the sound of the metal straw rubbing on the bare metal lid... Nails on chalkboard, to me.**UPDATE** After only 2 days of use, the rubber gasket where the straw is, tore apart. Let's see how long the 2nd one lasts (this was a 2 pack).Perfect fit for my 32oz regular mouth mason jar. Nice and snug, no leaking. No metallic taste from straw.

Good idea--Poor Product.
The straws are the only thing worth buying. The "coated" bottom of lids are nothing more than mason jar lids. They scratch so easy- really should be 1-5 time use only. The others were bent easy to straighten out but still. Rusted after one light use with coffee. Save your money.
